I find all the comments about feeling sorry for the dog a bit disturbing.
What about the scores of humans that get killed in the movie? The fucking T-1000 is a dick because he killed the dog? LMAO. No he's a dick because of the humans that slaughtered.
I don't know....People seem to have a general lack of human compassion.I find that more disturbing than any scene in this movie.
This is where he learned where Sarah was being held because of the return address amongst the pictures. Combined with how important his mother is to him if he keeps all those photos in such a special place, and he automatically knows where his next stop is gonna be.
Was killing the dog really necessary? The T-1000 had no reason to so I guess he was just a dick plain and simple. I kinda like the scene when hes going through Johns Room.
I extremely felt sorry for the dog, I know it was fake and it did not happen, but still, seeing a dog getting ruthlessly killed is more sad than a human getting ruthlessly killed, us humans have caused so much destruction on Earth for Thousands of years now, what have Dogs done?
I actually have the Director's Cut version of this film, but it only included the part where the dog gets killed. I never saw the T-1000 molesting John's furniture. Was it cut from the director's cut edition, or am I senile? The latter wouldn't surprise me, but I've seen it so many times that it's impossible that I would have missed the scene.
@themaniacboy Well. when the T-1000 saw the dog's name it realized that it was fooled by John and the T800... Isn't really important but it completes all the phone sequence...
@aztecboy4212 Agreed. Robert Patrick was the last Terminator villain that I thought was genuinely great (and creepy) in the role. T3, Salvation, the television series...for some reason I just don't think they had the same feel to them that the first two villains did.
Awesome deleted scene! I think I saw it on the full uncut DVD when I visited my Uncle John and Aunt Francis by myself in Houston, TX. And the Can it be destroyed? Unknown. Scene too. Great job anyway!

I like how you can show people getting killed by the thousands in Hollywood movies, but never a dog.
thestranger4812 6 months ago 4
So if they leave this scene in the movie, the phone call would not fit, because he would have know the dogs name.

@gibbi8 Yes, cause letting a dog bark all night while you're searching a house with two dead people inside is such a great idea...

@JohnathanPozzi This scene was a waste of time.
It was very very unnecessary, even for the plot.

@Kagereneko No, i meant the scene that the t-1000 is searching John's room, the dog scene is not very necessary but can help the plot.
themaniacboy 9 months ago
T-1000 finding out the dogs name is in the original movie, it's the rest of the clip that is a deleted scene

@JohnathanPozzi yes because it was a deleted scene not a special or an extra scene like this one
