  • I agree that the Revolutionary Guard was stronger than Pol Pots nutcases, they were organized, they had training, the right equipment. Hell, a good amount of the insurgents that the US army and their puppet allies fought in the last war, were in the Revolutionary Guard as well, and they're still fighting (only this time, they have the puppet regime forces and their friendly "militias" like the Mehdi Army to fight)

  • Does it make me a wimp or something for being kinda scared while watching this episode? I mean, it was an awesome episode and all but me, reading alot of history and coming across dictators and such, it's scary to think those people existed and it might happen again.

  • @Derurasu1

    Let's pray it don't! =]

  • Seriously man, I don't mind if you're going to make a video talking about the show rather than posting the show itself, but don't you think that your thumbnail was a little bit misleading?

  • @TheAGSproductions

Read the title, plus this is YouTube, people shouldn't post stuff they don't have rights to anyway.

  • @CascadeSoldier

Dude, I know the title says that it's a review, but that doesn't show up on the suggestions bar because the title is so long, plus you have a misleading thumbnail, so yeah. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, honestly.

  • @TheAGSproductions

A lot of people come up to me about that and at least you were respectful about doing so. However, every partner has the ability to change thumbnails including myself. It is a perk that I just want to take advantage of. I'll be honest, it's for more views but if you've ever checked out my channel, nobody complains when they watch my MMA stuff where they see a different thumbnail because those fans know this isn't the place to watch the fights. Same should go for DW viewers.

  • I liked the episode but I don't think that the x factors should have been training necessarily .I would say brainwashing and patriotism would be mote apropriate . Another reason Pol Pot lost was just his 16 year old minions . "training" or mentality was not needed for an easy victory for Saddam

  • Aztecs would have won in new format. Fo you you think that.

  • im cambodian and i cant belive saddam won

  • This is another Nazi SS vs Viet Kong.

They would win in a battle, but in a war, no.

  • In the end i have to say, this episode really balances a lot of things out for me and the sheer epicness of the fight made me a happy and satisfied man for the night. :D

  • and as for the results, I have to say I was a bit surprised that the fight ended 56% to 44% in saddam's favor and ironically, I kinda cheered for saddam to win in the end, since just in case pol pot fans are upset that pol pot lost, they can always watch saddam hussein's execution vid on youtube for compensation. That and the highest win margin on the show so far made me feel a lot better about genghis vs. hannibal (which I think should have been closer like 50.5% to 49.5% in genghis's favor).

  • (cont.) saddam hussein pulls a "sun tzu" on pol pot by tricking him into thinking that the man standing was saddam when it was a khmer soldier with saddam's clothing and then saddam yells "Allahu Akbar" and shoots him with a tokerav pistol. But the ending would have been more awesome if Pol Pot jumped out of the way and kept hacking at Saddam with his Cane Knife and just when he's about to deal the finishing blow, saddam pulls a 'spetsnaz" with his combat knife into pol pot's gut and shoots him.

  • And as far as the sim goes, I have to say it's possibly the best one on this show yet. Let me tell you, I thought for most of the fight, pol pot and his cronies was dominating saddam's cronies like crazy and he was seriously threatening him like no tomorrow. The way pol pot killed two of saddam's men in the first bomb fight was even more awesome than seeing the navy seal bombing two israelis at the end. then just when pol pot was about to give saddam the finishing blow with the cane knife...

  • I have to say... this was one of my favorite episodes ever... at least as far as the sim goes... the combat knife vs. cane knife test was pretty cool and i thought the cane knife would get the edge due to being faster and longer, but the inability to instantly kill like the combat knife gave it a disadvantage. And i thought pol pot was going to win via the long-range test, but it seems the mid-range sealed it all in for saddam. and the chinese stick grenade was bombastic!

  • @HamonLord

Pol Pot would have won if it wasn't for x-factors on pure firepower.

  • @CascadeSoldier lol nice gta poster

  • @TheHEROESdontRUN

    Thanks homie!

  • I'm diggin' your Grand Theft Auto poster in the background.

  • @MigsDaRutt

    Thanks, haha. =]

  • @MigsDaRutt I am too, Vice City was the best of the GTA's imo.

  • They showed great generals like Napoelon and Hannibal get their necks cut and show the gore, they show great generals like Sun Tzu get mutilated, but they don't show evil men like Pol Pot getting his brains blown out only a blood splatter.

Saddam should have shot Pol Pot's legs and poured a chemical bath on his wounded body,(like a Vlad the Imapler ending)

  • @MrBsct

LMFAO! I was kinda expecting a torture sequence haha.

  • I still want to know how in the world the sim counted the RPK as a superior than the RPD, which is just as accurate, same range... but has 250% the ammo capacity.

  • @vanhalenfan74729

Training tipped it in their favor. If this was the season 1/2 format, Pol Pot wins hands down with the explosive and long range edge. This is what we wanted in the show though for this and future seasons. To not make this just a weapons test. I'm satisfied with the results.

  • @CascadeSoldier I only agree that it's the Iraqi national Guard, and not Saddam himself. :)

  • @vanhalenfan74729

Saddam's used weapons since his 20s. He probably wasn't much of a shot, but probably better than those Khmer kids.

  • Knew Saddam would win but did think Pol Pot was gonna win at one point after some of the tests such as the Grenade and RPD. The X Factor in Training proved costly for Pol Pot in my opinion.

When I watched the fight near the end, when it shows Pol Pot walking up thinkin that he was going to kill Saddam, I remember when the Cane Knife was tested that it had a weakness in close space which Pol Pot was in a closed space near the end of the battle and knew by then that Saddam has won the battle.

  • @StevoM17

It makes sense. Yeah, the closed space, plus taking on a bigger, arguably fitter opponent, the edge going to the combat knife and holding up, really does make sense. As for the stick grenade and RPD, ditto. I did say that myself in my video. Thanks for the comment!

  • The result is fine i guess, i just want to see more (respectable) Asian warriors win like Genghis and the Monk

  • @ytchip21

Can't blame you for thinking that. Who cares who wins here really.

  • I was thinking Pol Pot was going to win. But like you said I though he was going to run out of bullets but didnt, classic headshot.

  • @SuperDMan65

Well I said that even though Pot has the better primary firearm test-wise, I thought Saddam and his RG would somehow make it back with their experience. They did, but I didn't think they would eventually outgun the Khmer Rouge in long range and of course they did.

  • Another great review! Training, that's what wins it on the battlefield. I thought the RPD would rip through Saddam since it got the edge, but then again a teenager vs a grown man with his RPK, not gonna happen. Liked the sim, thought the car sequence was a bit ridiculous, it served no purpose other than to get another kill for Pot, but I guess they had to do it for the respective test. I want to see more of the x factors......Can't wait for next weeks episode, a "feel good" one at that :D

  • I had a feeling Saddam would win, so not much of a surprise there.

The ending was hilarious, though; Pol Pot's "Oh SHIT!!" look right before Saddam shot him was PRICELESS.

  • @GarlicPudding

Yeah I was a fan of that. Pretty classy of Saddam Hussein there!

  • hey can you do a review on alternate history on next Wednesday

  • @darylcastro4435

It will be hard to squeeze in that night. Getting these out of the way with are hard due to the fact work kinda kills me before the episode, and I have to work in the morning, so it's hard enough to get these uploaded. I will see what I can do. Most likely no, but thanks for asking.

  • to be honest i belive the viet cong wold whoop ss because america beat ss and viet kong beat america france and britan plus the end of that battle was bs they made the guy walk at the ss guy shooting his gun all crazy and yelling like an idiot i really dont think the viet cong would do that plus viet kong has modern weapons

  • @MACEX1000

I HATE your assessment of that. I'm sure someone on my comment board will tell you otherwise. Look more into that part of history besides reading the end result.

  • @CascadeSoldier well did u see the end of the battle ss vs vc they made him act all retarded at the end besides the vc was backed by china in a full on war there would be no way ss or just about any other countrie would win without the use of nukes

  • @MACEX1000

Remember. This is 5 on 5 buddy. Look at the VC casualties compared to the US casualties in the Nam war. Nam was fighting a war of attrition and paying for it. The US basically quit because of the anti-war support back home. It wasn't like they were doing bad. Long story short, I am saying the VC pretty much preferred quantity over quality and in their case it makes sense because you need that many people to make up for their collective inexperience as soldiers.

  • @CascadeSoldier i tottaly agree with you but what im trying to say is deadliest warrior is not allways a relyable source of information look germany was eventually beat by quantity when the soviet union overran them in ww2 so imagine the same numbers overruning germany but with 60s to 70s era modern weapons germany era 1940-1945 would not stand a chance

  • @MACEX1000 well to be fair during that season tactics and training were not really taken into account and it came down to deadliest weapons and the SS did in fact have the more deadly weapons if they took in the tactics of both Viet Cong and SS i beleive it would have been much closer and perhaps Viet Cong might have won :P

  • @MACEX1000 viet cong didnt beat us we technically gave up. yes they won the war of hearts and minds but ss had better training. just look at the kill to death ratio for the us and vietcong we far out did them. now the ss its simple you cant win a two front war that won of the main reason why we won.

  • @jj125 they didnt just beat america they beat france and britan too

  • @MACEX1000 ok i ll give you france (i mean who cant beat them) but like i said they won the war of hearts and minds. but on the battle field we were winning.

  • @jj125 but britan too

  • hands down i already knew saddam was going to win

  • @MACEX1000

Anything can happen but that did.

  • haha u have the same vice city poster as me

  • @MACEX1000

    Classic.
