The kids who did this test the first time have been followed up on and the difference in SAT scores between the ones who ate theirs right away and those who lasted was like 200 pts and were generally more succesful in life. It seems that impulse control is at least as if not more important than IQ in determining success in life.

non c'est un test pour la vie future de l'enfant... savoir attendre pour avoir une meilleure récompense (par exemple, dans la "vraie" vie, savoir épargner de l'argent) c'est aussi une étude sur la future obésité de ces gamins... (s'ils résistent, c'est bien, sinon non...)
