This dog only looks overweight as it has an thick down undercoat beneath its top fine coat. Designed for colder climates. But my bitch looked very similar and was a perfect fitness and weight.

One of my female Border collies hunts baby bunnies just like that!! She catches them too! She will spend hours doing that. All i have to do is say "baby bunnies" and she runs up the hill to find them.
