i did exactly as you said, but when i go to the international keyboards and japanese, emoji isnt there. Is it because I have an ipod touch not an iphone?

Hmm that's weird I do too....make sure all of the steps are followed make sure when you go to keyboards, ect....the emoji icons are turned on, jailbreak shouldn't have anything to do with it but I'll look into it you might want to do a hard reset & the a sync & try it

1) Be Sure You're on iPhone firmware 2.2 or 2.2.1

(2) Download Spell Number from App Store [link]

(3) Launch app and enter this newest code 91929394.59 and close the app

(4) Open Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards >Japanese > Turn the Emoji "ON"

(5) Select the Globe when entering text with any app to add Emoji
