I really don't understand what's the use of going back in the past when we all know how the love story of DD & Toni ended. Toni and DD moved past all the hurt and now are good friends. No matter how hurtful it was DD made his choice and Toni also made her choice. Back when they were teens I had to admit that they looked good together but it sad how it ended.
