I think your sur are correct and even scale is correct but you need to open your throat a bit more, don't supress. If you sing with a lower scale, you may be more comfortable but then it will not look that good than original scale.

@ashumundra ..thanks dear for ur honest write up..yes low pitch can be better for me..i sing these days in my pitch only..realized my mistakes..for me sur is not problum and right pitch is problum..

you were singing in a scale different from the original track (you were singing on a higher scale)... a lower scale wouldve suited you better and made it easier too

Singing class to nahi liya.But i did 5-6 time practice before sang.Its just an effort and could be better.Its a hard song to sing on track.

Its always good to see someone sing.. and taking the pain to compensate for what couldnt be done long back.... I always wanted to be a professional musician.... but you know the trends in India right... I ended up being an architect... and do music related stuff once in a while.... check out my videos... I hope I could get enough time to do something.....
