They were also present earlier in the Near East, with the Nabateans or something of the like. The innocent shopkeeper who may have been a recipient of the countless lawsuits waged against European institutions, Swiss banks and German citizens to recover confiscated property from individuals who were dead and gone when the court heard the case. The innocent shopkeeper should move because the law makes sure that someone is held accountable, and if she was a recipient of recovered goods or is occupying stolen land that yes she should leave.

The argument you use is a typical resonse to something that is not being demanded. What is demanded is that Israel admit that its formation was essentially invasion and theft of a land from its inhabitants. Then we can move on. Rather she is a voice of the other side, rarely heard, and lost in the mainstream of consensus and complicity that is American journalism.
