Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry to hear your mother lost her battle. I proudly proclaim being a survivor since July 16, 2007 and I count every day as a blessing. I was fortunate enough to get all the cancer with a lumpectomy and 6 weeks of radiation. I have walked in the Komen 3 day 60 mile walk for the last 3 years and a few different American Cancer Socity walks. We need to continue to raise awareness for early detection -- it saves lives (it did mine!).
