Really cool cover man, I really like your take on the song. Vocally, I know you do that Brand New thing, which I really dig... but I'd modify the vowel in the upper end if I were you... :30 "I" could be more open so it doesn't sound pinched, and the "air" sound from the words "scared" and "swear" at 2:34 have the same thing going on.
Not dissing, just constructively criticizing. I really like the cover man, and you got the 'Brand New' voice thing down. Brings character to the song. Re-watchin
@csgam369 Kevin Devine probably never saw this. He's a pretty badass musician in his own right, you should check out some of his stuff. Anything off of Brother's Blood is really awesome (I could be with anyone, carnival, all of everything erased, etc.), and she stayed as steam are his most developed stuff.

@AcousticalyTim he's got a capo on the 2nd fret and during the verse he plays Am and C and walks the bass lines when he changes chords. then during "in the night like a thief.." part he switches to F and Am and for the "hate factories" part its Am G then C. The fills and stuff he plays aren't that hard to figure out
@Pwallable the notes he is playing aren't that hard, how he's doing it, with what fingers, and how the strum pattern fits in is the part i can't figure... .. but if your that good, would you mind putting up a quick how-to video for us beginners.
