  • i crossed eyes and it isnt 3d x(

  • Basically 1080p doesn't have those little lines wich sometimes appear when the camera moves in 1080i... or at least this is what I see

  • @xtremegamer4696 You dont understand. Most 1080p TVs are not 1080p. They have a moving picture resolution of only 900 lines....only the expensive one are the true 1080p with 1080 lines of MOVING picture resolution.

  • @SkaterJetro ....pics are measured in megapixels... ps: when taking a picture of something that small i suggest using a macro lens ^_^

  • Nice

  • thumbs up if you don't see a difference AT ALL

  • 1080i has more noise. 1080p TV broadcasting is available in High-End TVs (Over 1500$) for a reason you know.

  • @MrAleksandarDzever Uhm what are you talking about? You can get a 1080p tv for less than 500$ and the other problem is that if you area watching cable you are not getting 1080p, the only real time you get that HD resolution is when you are watching a blue ray.

  • Better see this video at 720p resolution and Full screen to see Interlaced video (LEFT) suck !

  • @3DFULLHD agree 1080P is better

  • 1080i = i = interlaced suck ! back from 1943 technology are still again in 2012 in bad quality product ! never buy again interlaced camcorder after 1999 ! (info. cathodic tube TV , super 8 , MiniDV , DVD disc , ALL use interlaced frames with ugly horizontal lines and 50% less crisp like progressive frames , oh and i forget another poor interlaced camcorder :SONY 3D HDR-TD10 at 1500$ ! on Sony website for this camcorder any info about i or p (it catch info) see my video Progressive vs Interlaced

  • Pause the video and press 4.

See on parts of the image where it seems to be cut up slightly? Or have weird patterns. That's interlacing.

progressive removes that effect and smooths out the image completely.

  • i dont get it. wats better and more defined? whats the difference?

  • @WLOfails 1080i is 540 lines of image rapidly filling up 1080 lines of image, while 1080p is actually 1080 likes of image filling up 1080 lines of image so its a solid picture. So 1080p is better.

  • @haiger69 thanks.

  • @haiger69 Yes, but interlaced footage refreshes at twice the rate - so visually it doesn't really make any difference at all..

  • @shredmiester4000 actually, in my opinion there is a huge difference. I prefer 1080p over 1080i

  • @haiger69 Thats what they want you to think..

  • @willieturnip well i absolutly hate 1080i

  • cross eye = 1080pi ;D

  • There is so much wrong with this video that it is hilarious.

    Resolution comparison FAIL!!!

  • this is the same file

  • epic fail! You need to deinterlace xDDDD

  • niice 3d :D

  • @SpruceDread4578 But you're missing the point, you won't be able to tell UNLESS you pause the video, because the interlacing acts to "smooth" the frames out by them being interlaced in the first place...

by de-interlacing the image, you half it's resolution, but you end up with a progressive video instead of an interlaced one. The fact that he has cropped these pictures side by side, means that they should both represent per pixel quality of 1080 res, but he's put it in 720p instead....

  • @SpruceDread4578 It's not, its 1080i that has been DE-INTERLACED on the right hand side, they aren't the same image, you can even pause it and see that the left one is still interlaced.

The uploader has cropped them so that the pixel mapping would be correct (instead of squashing 2 1080 images side by side like most idiots do thinking that we can still see it as 1080p) if the video was uploaded in 1080p, but it's not, its 720p, thats the fail,

You don't seem to understand what he's done here

  • i SUCKS !

  • All the faggots who think they are both 1080i fail to understand that the image on the right has been DE INTERLACED. Therefore it's technically a progressive image. Pause and you will see the difference.

The fact that the uploader has cropped 2 videos together makes the pixel mappings perfect for a 1080p video, the FAIL here is that he's uploaded in 720p.

    Fucking idiot.

  • I just realized that this also works in cross-eye 3D!

  • 1080i and 1080p wins :)

  • What the hell...!? The uploader limits the resolution too 720p on a 1080p vs 1080i video. Fucking shit..

  • @BudzMcgr33n Yeah, he's an idiot.

  • @BudzMcgr33n If you look at the bottom, it says 'cropped to 640x720'. You and the 20 people who upvoted you are ignorant.

  • press stop every 1 second and you will see the difference :)

  • 1080p wins :)

  • why does it says 1080i on corner of both of them

  • @aladdad1 It doesn't..... 1080i is on the left, 1080p is on the right....

  • @C0GSniper look down it says its 1080i on both

  • @aladdad1 Well it says 1080p at the top too.

  • @FreshRosas And that is the proof to use "better" one only to grow ego dick.

  • there's jagged edges on 1080i

  • they're both 1080i wtf is this shit???

  • @YoJoe4368 1080i and 1080p on camera can be interchanged through a process called de-interlacing, all it does it change the compression format, which in turns the way the picture is seen. And when you de-interlace you keep the same resolution except it is now 1080p

  • @YoJoe4368 The left is 1080i and the one on the right is 1080p

  • Not a clue, they both look awesome

  • So which is better then
