  • Agree to disagree.. I think dance should be from the heart but I also can tell you amazing tech. is beautiful.. Both are strong combinations that make an incredible dancer.. Like Melanie Moore her tech && movement FLAWLESS <3

  • at 0:46 that girl kinda failed LOLs

  • I like the flexiblity and all but I don't think these girls belong in Hall of Fame. At almost every spinning leg extension their legs were bent and the girl at about 0:33 looked like she clearly messed up. Alot of things are wrong with their dancing for someone who's 1st overall in Hall of Fame.

  • Most dancers that are on a serious level can do that.

  • Who is the girl at :30???

  • @MrsSidneyCrosby1995 Brittany Hines you should see her All That Jazz dance it's great!

  • @96HollywoodPotential thank you

  • These are all very impressive and it is dance to an extent but mostly is is yet another trick to add to a competition dancer's resume. Rare is the competition dancer who can put genuine emotion into a dance because they're too busy worrying about whether or not they're doing the correct number of turns to impress the judges or not.

  • Most of these shouldnt be in the "hall of fame".

They aren't on full releve , their legs are bent,

    How is that impressive ?

  • it's called turning not spinning

  • 0:30 is my favorite!!!

  • Well the 2nd person shouldnt have even been on here

  • ya ur right it depends on the judge

  • hello its all the choreographers brittney hine didn't ask for what she was going to do she was told and taught. Thats why she quit or atleast why i think she quit. And btw i love competition dancing its amazing thats why im a competition dancer.

  • Hey well the judges count on timing, techniqe and how well u now the dance so flexability does count

  • okay maybe i'm stupid but i'm a ballet dancer, so what's this style called?

  • @Juventina1005 High five to us uneducated ballet dancers! xD Jk, but I don't know either. *face palms self*

  • @AriaInTheSky haha glad to know I'm not the only one...;)

  • @Juventina1005 We have our own terms that confuse people! <3

  • @AriaInTheSky you're telling me :D after dancing ballet for 19 years i'm still often like: "wait. what? was that an entrechat-six? quatre? trois?" i gave up trying to figure out how to count them. ;)

  • @Juventina1005 Wow, 19 years? I'm barely scraping 12. 6 professionally, 6 at home thanks to informative DVDs. xD

  • @AriaInTheSky yep i'm officially old. ;) i started at the age of 3 and somehow never stopped. thank god! :)

  • @Juventina1005 We moved to a different state, and we didn't have time to go to a new dance school. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! That means no pointe shoes. Dundunduuuuuun. *dies*

  • @AriaInTheSky OMG HI YAY I DO BALLET TOOO :)

  • @beautychica12 WOO!

  • Alexa's at 0:37 is amazing and sooo clean

  • these girls train hard to do what they can do. Yea i agree some times its too many tricks but you gotta respect the hard work behind it.

  • @xalexisnicolex60 my studio competes and it amazing. not everything is just tricks but the flexability is a very important part of being able to dance as well as these girls do. if they dont do tricks then what are the judges going to critique on? i've been competiting for 5 years and i've gotten so much out of it. its not just tricks its about the love we have for dancing and getting to share that at competitions and then being critiqued on it and make us better.

  • 0:33 :O it's rittany Hine!!! #OMG She is awesome! In this vid they only show a portion of her talent! She can do way more spinning leg extensions than that!

  • awsome.... i wish i could do that

  • What dance is :35? I want to know!

This girl is like 8 and im 14 and can nearly do that stuff. Grant it I am only in my fifth year of competiting but gooodness!

  • @bebe28120 All that jazz by Brittany Hine

  • I think 0:37-0:40 is the best

  • well... my studio is temecula dance company and i am on the competiton teams there. i am the ninth best junior dancer there. and just so you know my studio just so happens to be the third best in the country

  • @dancergirl22100 Hi (; What's your name ?

  • what song is that??

  • Agreed. You can't diss the talent though :)

  • I agree!!!!!

  • where is alexis mcclures quad leg turn!!!!!!! it is phenomenal and in time for mercy!

  • i know!!!!! its AMAZING!!!!! :D

  • Its so weird though..how all of them use only there right leg to spin...i have a bad right leg and i wanted to learn to do it on my left leg D:

  • whats the name of the song

  • how are they spinning so fast? like what are they wearing on their feet? are they just ballet slippers? or what? lol i dont do ballet but i figure skate and i want to be able to spin off ice and spinners are expensive xD

  • they are all wearing jazz shoes

  • There wearing tan jazz shoes or light pink ballet slippes. :)

  • Yes dancing is very expensive.

  • the song in the background makes the video cooler then it already is

  • I am working on my needle turn... any suggestions...anybody?

  • i can do a spinning leg extention but whats a needle turn

  • A needle turn is the same thing... I think. Well, at least, that's what I've been told... Still, any suggestions would help..

  • oh ok always hold on up near your ankle if you don't you fall over trust me i dont any thing else just kinda turn and hold your leg it just takes practice a lot it took me about a month this summer of practice but i got it good luck remember to practice

  • its when both of your feet are on the ground and ur standing on the point of your toes spinning...never do it bear foot...trust me :L

  • so its different

  • so like ballet version

  • a needle turns an illusion. aha

  • i thought a needle turn was also called an illusion, where you thrust your torso down and around after doing a windmill type kick, so your whole body goes in one straight line... but i cant remember anymore

  • i know what illisions are but idk

  • It is!

  • yeah thats an illusion, what they are called is really what the tachers feel like calling them one teacher will call it a needle turn and the next could call it a illusion

  • good but not great!

some were not even good at all!!!!!!!

  • best thing ever. xoStephy :P

  • Seriously. Am I do only one who notices how terrible YourDanceChannel is?? Theyre kinda prejudicuded ((in want of a better word)) and they always have the solos from the same girls, the same ones in the best leaps pirottes and leg extensions......they so have favorites. Some girls out there are way better than this, and they need some spotlight! Anybody else think this channel has favorites? I know I do.

  • i COMPLETELY AGREE!! All Jazz and Lyrical. We need some Tappers! My friend Rachael is Just as good as these Girls but look who gets no credit for her hard work. People we know BEcause we aren't fancy shmancy rich kids from Well known places. We're not from NYC but we are from NYS I Totally agree with you!! BOO YDC

  • I agree!!! Me and my friend can both do that!

  • Thank you!! They make it look like they are doing stuff nobody can do! I can do just that and maybe even better!

  • Oh i know!!! They have a ton of vids like that and its like ur not the only ones...just b/c u know the yourdancechannel ppl doesnt mean ur the best

  • I know! Like my Gosh Just because We go to A diff dance studio OR don't go to Hall of fame Dance comps we don't get recognized? They have a LONG LIST on thei channel Saying they go to alot! Pfft Yea right. Posers.

  • Yeah exactly it is so annoying!!!!!!!!

  • Yea! You would think we'd be discovered by now. =P I subbed you

  • yeah one would think lol....yeah i saw that, cool

  • IKR!!! Ohhhh :P

  • yeah! I cant wait until i start dance to get even better tho

  • U don't dance? I dance and I've been dancin for almost 8 years! =P

  • No i have been dancing for 10...just to start a new season and after the summer

  • Ohhh XD I'm switching studios

  • oh i was thinking about it

  • Yeah I hate competition dancing.. I mean I guess a FEW people that do it can actually dance but most of the time its all tricks and that doesn't really make me respect them at all.. I mean dancing comes from your heart and along with the tricks you have to have some time to just move and express yourself... I mean its way harder to express yourself doing a needle turn than it is to just sit and sway for a second. My studio has never competed and I am so glad but we never get recognized either ):

  • just because you compete doesnt mean your not a good dancer... and your generalization makes you seem very ignorant. Have you ever heard of Paula Van Open? or Jeanine Mason? Both top 20 on the show So You Think You Can Dance... Jeanine won the whole show! Both were competition dancers. So before you talk about competition dancers like that get your facts straight. Yea some studios are about tricks but not all of them!

  • @xalexisnicolex60 i realized tht too. when i see these girls getting first overalls or highest scoring solo, it's just because of their flexibility and how well they can turn. i really dont think that they care about how well the dancer flows with the choreography or the music. thats what i dont get. i mean one girl got 1st in my dance studio and shes not that flexible but she floes very well. so i guess it depends on the judge?

  • @xalexisnicolex60 OMG thank you so muchh! i was waiting for someone to say that! hahah i agree 2834732% (:

  • @xalexisnicolex60 I know where your coming from, but TRUST ME competitive dancers (most of them ) work their asses off ! i for one dance 7 days a week four hours a day, strictly ballet for the most part. This is only little kids doing jazz, not lyrical, modern or contemporary. If you go to a competition you will understand and be shocked by the girl there, it is beautiful. Also, so far 3 girls from my studio have been on SYTYCD . Trust me, just because we compete does not mean were not good .

  • @xalexisnicolex60 This is my opinon : i think you are wrong. Just do your and you can get alot of stuff

  • well, that name says it...extensions, no one can spin that way, nor has that flexibility.

  • I have that flexibilty. lol. I dont get what you mean...?

  • simply, if you can execute what those girl performed, you are talented, otherwise, not.

  • please dont blame this on talent its called hard work and determination sure some kids are BORN with genetics more easyyier to do different things but not talentblood swet and tear also known as hard work

  • Comment removed

  • rofli, your statement has lack of knowledge. those kids probably were taught to dance, bc they love it, not enforce to like it. nobody has the talent to dance unless if its learned, and genetics plays less in this matter. there are ppl who knows to dance, and others not. my mom was ballerina, quitted 4 work, but, despite of it, still knowing the steps from her era.

  • uhh i can.

  • good 4 u.

  • bitch dont be hatin because you have no talent at all.

  • WTF??x-( i suppose you LIED in the 1st place.

  • i an do thisss :) x

  • Yeah only the really little kids at my studio do this. Like we learn them when we're 8 or so but once you're 10 you just stop doing them.

  • ya i'm working on that...

  • I'm 9 and I can do that because of my dance school. I don't mean to brag

  • and yet your bragging.

  • there good but i have seen better but there kids so im not going 2 make fun of them

  • omg i know girl nees to learn how to spot

  • or

    isn't embarassingly critical

  • i like the music lol

  • Wow this is great. the only thing i would change is at :42 the girl flexes(sp?) her foot before the leg hold turn. Of course, I can only do a single leg hold turn so... haha

  • - when she bends down and put her leg up in air

  • Comment removed

  • they r much easier if u work on ur flexability

  • they were all good, but not good enough, they were to sloppy. Yea they're little but I'd much rather see a little girl do it precisely or not at all.

    Though its not their fault.

  • sloppy? wow uh not really

  • Isn't that an illusion at 0:34? I've always wanted to be able to do those....

  • these dancers are unbelievable? DANCERS? not dancers, not gymnasts, just there to make parents happy and spoiling years that would be precious for serious training.

  • uh, shut up . just because they do cool tricks does not mean they dont know how to dance you've obviously never been in a class before, because they must learn basics before this stuff which will help them in the long run

  • OBVIOUSLY you have no way to know how many hours I spend training every week... besides this, even though I respect the young ladies for their work, this stuff will be completely useless when they will grow if they want to be professional dancers; they should rather spend time acquiring proper technique, not doing circus for the parents' delight.

in addition, I thinks it's really bad taste to dress children like strippers in a night club...

  • From what you said is how I made that statement. You're thinking 1-dimensionally. . You're probably thinking of 1 type of dancing. For example on, "so you think you can dance", if they use these in addition it works. Or for cheer leading try outs. Or for JAZZ dance perhaps? These are so cool, I wish how to do them. And even if they don't end up using it in the future, making their parents proud and being able to do these cool tricks is awesome!!

  • they are really not that hard if you are flexible. i am at dance probably about twenty hours a week, which makes me really flexible and able to turn well... but it does take time

  • well that makes me feel better, but you need to be able to spot well and have balance.. i lack in that!!! but if what you say is true I am so happy. I would looooveeee to be able to do these

  • well, no ofense but no one cares how long u spend training! and no matter what u say dance will do more for u than u think. i think u r an ignorant person that doesnt know talent when she sees it!

  • ya.... practice...... and go to your dance studio and takes privates......

  • wow.

any tips on how to do those?

  • WOW! Thats amazing I can't do that! lol :)

  • am i the only leftie on this planet? haha, these girls are amazing.

  • amazing.....

  • where i come from we call those turns pencil turns. since your like a pencil turning idk how to explian =)

  • um im pretty sure its called a catch turn

  • the girl from :46-:50 i really good!

  • I love the music O__o what is it?

  • ok... just becuase their that flexible doesn't makes them great dancers!!! I can do moves harder than that spin and I don't need to be so flexible

  • good! but at our dance studio we call them needle turns

  • i have to do spinning leg extensions in my dance, i have no problem getting my leg up that high, but i have trouble gettin around...any tipps???

  • spot, spot, spot, whip your head around as fast as you can, and use your core!

  • Uhh, spot?

  • for example~ if your facing the wall keep your eyes on the wall so when your spinning your head whips back to looking at the wall

  • Thats called spotting. You need to get momentum, like preparing for chaines, do the same thing, just kick up your leg.

  • no happybeerballs said it correctly, there just different forms of the word..

  • pull you leg is really tightly!!!

  • Comment removed

  • lujgh

  • what???

  • kuel

  • i dont like them, i think they look kind of messy

  • i can do that because i am flexible!

  • WOW CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  • i call them spirals. but omg that was Great!

  • good job

  • I was under the impression these were called needle turns.

  • im not even quite that flexible! and turning too! and 10& under!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They all need to straighten their standing legs...

  • wait, i thought sometimes you can have a bent leg when doing a leg extension turn? am i wrong? that's what i was told?

  • no your leg is supposed to be a little bent like in a forced arch......

  • thanks! thats what i thought.

  • ya no prob at all!!! im happy to help!!!

  • is brittany left handed?

  • i just got my spinning leg extension!!!!! =D

  • I just got my double spinning leg extension!!!!!! I do it in my dance!!!!!!!!!!! I m so excited b/c every 1 drops to the floor and then there is me doing a double spinning leg extension!!!! It is kool!

  • these girls rock i mean 10 years old come on

  • god jul

  • god jul

  • i can only do 2 man shes good

  • I can barley do one!

  • what studio does amanda go to

  • we call it spinning when we dont spot..like ice skaters..and these girls. turning (pirouettes, fouetes, al la seconds) all use spotting. just a thought.

  • i call them spinning

  • the girl at 0:37 have amazing control who is her?

  • brittany hine

  • no thats alexis mclure!

  • no it is brittany hine, search;; Brittany Hine- All That Jazz

    thats where it is from

  • no i know shes in that dance but shes up until 0:35 alexis starts at 0:36 and anyway why would videomasterlove say at the end of britanys time instead of the beginning??? its alexis

  • and brittany did one and alexis did a lot and hers were very precise and full of control

  • I think the 6th dancer they show is the best because she comes down with control and puts it on the back of her ankle.

  • alexis mcclure's are definitely the cleanest... everyone else just pulls their leg up fer two seconds and drops.... with no control

  • im a dancer and i can almost do that britney heine is amazing

  • i love these kinds of turns<33333 these girls are beyond amazing dancers, and they are young!

  • What is this song?

  • over the rainbowï»
