LoC wanted this picture to be placed on their 2001 debut album, but Hellcat wouldn't allow it due to the Columbine massacre. So LoC titled their album Mediocre Generica in protest, as a veiled reference to what they viewed as the mediocrity of the bands on Hellcat's label. This is why LoC left Hellcat.

I am an American in a mainly Arab school. I made it clear to someone that they shouldn't be constantly insulting homosexuals because it's been scientifically proven to be in ones chromosomes. He said it was against his religion. I said:
"Well, if your God makes everyone and everything out of what was once nothing, and since it is proven to be in ones chromosomes, logic would dictate...Your God made them gay."
I nearly got suspended for "Insulting his religion".

Also Stza has stated very clear in interviews that he sees nothing wrong with brainwashing kids at young ages. @ColinTheButthead I remeber my friend was saying that he sometimes used the word gay in a negative context but sometimes he was hangning around homosexuals when he said it, and always felt a bit guilty and awkward. I just think it's a word changing context, it happens all the time I mean gay used to mean happy. anyone offended by it is probably being a bit touchy, there are far worse examples of homophobia. BTW people do sometimes describe something as being white (usually meaning it's boring)

Actually, He's insulting Op Ivy in this song. He's blatantly accusing Tim Armstrong of being homophobic because he signed the homophobic punk band US Bombs to the record label. He's also calling Lars Fredricksen sexist for his artwork with his work with the Bastards. Honestly, Stza is just mad he got booted from Hellcat records.

It's because Op Ivy has some homophobic lyrics and they had an incident once at a aids benefit, a bad joke bad jesse. LoC is a great band, but Stza ruins it, there is wayyy too much brainwashing in his music.

Also Stza has stated very clear in interviews that he sees nothing wrong with brainwashing kids at young ages. He's been asked if he ever worries about influencing younger audiences when it comes to killing cops and he states that he sees nothing in "enlightening" which is a very nice way to avoid the word brainwashing. All these political bands rely on brainwashing so don't be so naive to think that the religious preaching is brainwashing while leftist preaching is not.

yeah I guess it comes down to who can appreciate the music more, I'm in no way an extremist and I do like music that's not apathetic and actually questions shit going around but LoC can be a bit extremist for me. I guess it's because I'm not from the streets. We all have different views and opinions. I will support LoC if they continue to make music (I highly doubt that they will stick without ezra).
