  • you may be anti racist but then you're anti gay its so fucking true

  • @likelylike its so not true!! i have a few skinhead friends, not of them are against gays

  • Necropedocoprophila is just trolling guys.

  • Once when I was in seattle this skin head prick asked me to play him a song, and I had been drinking a little bit that night, so I played him a song that me and an ex-partner of mine wrote called 'fuck the christian reich'. (Which I found out later wasn't exactly the most original song title...) The skin head just stared at me and looked like he was about to do something, but he left me and my queercore friends to drink.

  • @downwithbreeders are you serious? Creating dividing lines between "breeders" and "non-breeders" is just as bad as creating lines between gays and straights. Just because people chose to procreate doesn't make them bad people and just because that person called some a f*g doesn't make them a "breeder." It makes them ignorant and fucking stupid. Breeder is also a very misogynistic slur, please refrain from using it in the future.

  • @downwithbreeders Heey, why are you using breeder as an insult? Not cool. Not cool at all.

  • @downwithbreeders shut up, fag.

  • Hey! Dont Ask Dont Tell is gone. Thats pretty rad

  • uhm, if you unite against the homophobes, isnt that kid of what they do to the homosexuals? just saying, good song, i agree with it 100%

  • @Gnarleypunkdude What's wrong with uniting against discrimination and simple-mindedness?

  • @ILikeToDissectGirls nonono, i agree with the song dude, and theres nothing wrong, i was justpoinitng it out, i love these guys and all they do

  • FUCK HOMOPHOBES! FUCK EM! im not gay but it is 100% ok

  • I'm ok with gays...

Except when they start touching your ass...

  • "I'm not gay, but I wish I was to piss off homophobes." -Kurt Cobain

  • i'll shoot your kid at skool, cuz he's gonna grow up to be a fuckin asshole just like you .........

  • This song makes me feel really bad for being homophobic

    Sorry gay rude bois :D

  • I am Christian and I agree with this song.

  • anti-racism > anti-gay. it is worse to hate someone for who they are than hate someone for something they do

  • @StevenAteYourDogs Homosexuality and being a racial minority are both characteristics with which some people are born. Black people can't help that they're black, and gays can't help that they're gay.

Racism isn't worse than homophobia; they're both equally retarded.

  • @ILikeToDissectGirls for real. fuck oppression olympics. there is no excuse for bigotry, period.

  • @StevenAteYourDogs a gay person is gay no matter what they do. A gay man can live out their whole lives never having sex with a man and he will still be gay. Gay hating is hating someone for who the are.

  • lol, i'm not joking. I really have a cousin named Gay Tony. He's badass

  • @rageagainstboxhead gay tony rocks

  • @ahowarthuk exactly

  • Acceptance > Tolerence

  • this is like fuckin christmas dinner right here... -.- gay kids

  • This song is about Operation Ivy right? Idk its what I heard

  • Although I think they've since forgiven US Bombs for being a pretty OK band that wrote one really stupid song. The problem was more with Hellcat for being hypocrites.

  • I wish there was more tolerance among the modern punk crowd; that's a significant part in what the scene is about!!

  • you cant fucking hate someone for having a different view, no matter how "wrong" you think it is. right and wrong are points of view. and since punk is about doing what YOU think is right, then everyone needs to shut the fuck up and listen to some god damn music.

im a male, 18, heterosexual and non-homophobic, for those of you just dying to know.

  • homophobic punk is an oxymoron

  • @PsychedelicWarfare i dont even think that makes sence. gays are just like straights and vice versa. sure some gay guys are flamboyant but why the fuck would that even bother you? who gives a fuck?!?!

  • @PsychedelicWarfare What the actual fuck?

  • THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING BAND EVER

  • Fuck yea!!!!

  • For all of you who don't know who this song was written for it was for the bad brains and all of those other bigot rastafari followers

like bob marley he preached about love but in some songs he had anti gay lyrics

  • @TheDp321

Song is actually a parody of Op Ivy's "Unity".

  • @Vaicurious

i dont see how this would be. the only thing that somewhat mentions Operation Ivy is the lines, "unity, HA!". No parody, no cover, just LoC.

  • @420Punkie Because it's a call out for Tim Armstrong, his record company denied a band because they were homosexual, and this song is just pointing out the irony of that.

Not to mention the meaning of the song as a whole, which is awesome.

Definitely LoC styles to the max though..

  • @darkmoon21 he said its a parody of it, and its clearly not a parody.

  • @420Punkie and yet if listen o the lyrics its clearly anti-op

  • @darkmoon21 Not true. What actually happened is Hellcat had US Bombs on its roster, who came out with a song called "Don't Need You" which had some really homophobic macho lyrics ("I like girls and you like all the boys, I can tell you got that kind of lisp" being the most offensive line) which LoC rightfully felt was bullshit. That and the censoring of their album's title.

  • @nickca420 they wrote this song because armstrong signed Buju Banton, who has a song about killing gay people.... opening line the song boom bye bye is "Boom bye bye Inna batty boy head"- batty boy being slang for gay man in jamaica

  • @420Punkie It is a parody. LoC wrote this song after the fued they had with Hellcat about censor ship issues, regarding the picture in this video. LoC wanted this picture to be placed on their 2001 debut album, but Hellcat wouldn't allow it due to the Columbine massacre. So LoC titled their album Mediocre Generica in protest, as a veiled reference to what they viewed as the mediocrity of the bands on Hellcat's label. This is why LoC left Hellcat.

  • @420Punkie LoC accused Hellcat Records of promoting sexism, and homophobia: Lyrics/art from~> US Bombs, BuJu Banton & Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards. In this song, they are basically accusing Tim Armstrong of promoting sexism & homophobia. The references to the Operation Ivy songs are pointing out that Tim Armstrong was supposedly for Unity and Anti-homophobic during OpIvy years, but now he is promoting homophobia

OpIvy: Freeze up- "Its 1989 stand up and take a look around" Sound familiar?

  • Ahh, Fuck Anti-Gays. I'm not gay, but I am sure not spending my time branding myself or others with their sexuality. it is THEIR choice. not yours, i am fucking SICK of people using "gay" and "fag" as an insult. Here is couple words for nazi's and racists "fuck you and live your own life". Thumbs up if you think i should kick this guys ass who calls everyone a fag and thinks fags are bad...

  • @MrFuckoffplz im straight, i dont hate gay people (few of my friends are gay), and yet i use faggot and gay to describe alot of situations. why? because theyre just words. if gay people seriously get offended by whatpeople say to them, or when people use gay and fag they need to grow up. learn that this world isnt a pretty little picture where everyone gets along. theres always gonna be discrimination, theres no way around it. its human nature. wanna kick my ass? i live in ottawa. come get me.

  • @ohmygoditsjesus youre a straight white male. check your fucking privilege at the door.

  • @katelovesyou666 hahahaha yes!

  • @ohmygoditsjesus it's people like you that make change take decades, but what an idiot you are. You know why you think nothing will change? Because as long as you're alive it won't! But you know what? When you're dead and gone things won't be the same.

  • @ohmygoditsjesus You ignorant cunt.

  • @MrFuckoffplz You can't choose your sexuality.

  • @MrFuckoffplz shut up, fag.

  • I am an American in a mainly Arab school. I made it clear to someone that they shouldn't be constantly insulting homosexuals because it's been scientifically proven to be in ones chromosomes. He said it was against his religion. I said:

"Well, if your God makes everyone and everything out of what was once nothing, and since it is proven to be in ones chromosomes, logic would dictate...Your God made them gay."

I nearly got suspended for "Insulting his religion".

  • @TheSickHumanBeing Lol good job

  • @TheSickHumanBeing

It hasn't been proven to be in ones chromosomes.

  • @cv1031 Agghh you're right. Sorry I used the word 'proven', I don't think I meant to have used that word.

  • @TheSickHumanBeing is your school in america? then that means they are american too. Im assuming you meant you were white lol but I completely agree with you and what you did.

  • @ANBUblackops666 No, I'm not in the US.

P.S. since that was made a while ago I want to clear up that the idea of homosexuality being in one's chromosomes was not scientifically proven, it was wrong to have said that. Either way, I still don't believe they choose to be this way and I wouldn't put it passed the theory to be correct.

  • people are still anti-pedophile, how Intolerant and close minded can you be. stupid republicans who are bad.

  • @StevenAteYourDogs

Of course people are still anti-pedophile, pedophiles are sick bastards who ruin the innocence of a small child. And sexually abusing children shouldn't be accepted by anyone.

  • @tmsplltrs not all pedophiles are rapist. look at to catch a predator. there are kids like in real life who arn`t paid actors

  • @StevenAteYourDogs

I don't care if it isn't rape, it's still sick. And once pedophiles have had sex with children, they are definitely going to take advantage of the weakness of other children.

  • @tmsplltrs funny, you sound like a bigoted republican

  • @StevenAteYourDogs

Wow that's the worst insult ever. I just think the innocence of a small child is one of the few beautiful things left in this fucked up world and that shouldn't be ruined by any pedophile, and I'm sure a lot of people agree.

  • @tmsplltrs are people REALLY arguing with you, trying to defend pedophilia????

  • correct lyrics and whatever, but i think this music is pop shit

  • @nostalgicmusician im straight and i respect this comment

  • Intolerant society rears it's ugly face

  • Hi brother needs to chat sian women busizz4me.info

  • we need more songs like this, theres plenty of anti-racsim in the punk scene but you still run into boneheads who are homophobic. Darby Crash was gay, know your history

  • TIM ARMSTRONG IS NOT HOMOPHOBIC

  • i think im prolly bi. i dont really fucken care. men and women are all the same to me :)

  • yeah, fuck the homophobic and racist pricks out there. great song.great band.

  • i think my grandmothers homophobic

  • @metalnpunk69 i think every ones grand parents are racist/homophobic haha XD

  • @nostalgicmusician yeah ;)

  • just a question out of curiousity that maybe gay person could answer:

is it insulting for people to say to is gay if they dont like something or whatever?

im curious cuz i always discourage people to say that cuz it seems like it would be insulting to gay people cuz people are using the word negatively, i know i would find it offencive if when people insulted something they said thats so white or something like that

  • @ColinTheButthead i am guilty of this. while i try to add "for lack of a better word" or "middle-school gay" (seeing as that's where most of us picked it up), i shouldn't say it like that

  • @ColinTheButthead the way i see it, unless your meaning it offensively it dosent really matter

a word is just a puff of air, its how you mean it that is offensive

  • @ColinTheButthead I remeber my friend was saying that he sometimes used the word gay in a negative context but sometimes he was hangning around homosexuals when he said it, and always felt a bit guilty and awkward. I just think it's a word changing context, it happens all the time I mean gay used to mean happy. anyone offended by it is probably being a bit touchy, there are far worse examples of homophobia. BTW people do sometimes describe something as being white (usually meaning it's boring)

  • @ColinTheButthead A few of my gay friends are offended by that, as well as use of the word "faggot."

Others aren't. It really depends on the person. I say it's best not to use those words in that manner.

  • does anyone else recognize the tribute to operation ivy here?

  • Comment removed

  • @mattsgalley yes! i thought i was the only one who say that!

  • Actually, He's insulting Op Ivy in this song. He's blatantly accusing Tim Armstrong of being homophobic because he signed the homophobic punk band US Bombs to the record label. He's also calling Lars Fredricksen sexist for his artwork with his work with the Bastards. Honestly, Stza is just mad he got booted from Hellcat records.

  • @ultamatebeatlefan true fucking shit. i love stza, but hes bullshittin right here.

  • I agree. Stza is one of my heroes, but goddammit i love Tim too.

  • @ultamatebeatlefan he didn't get booted, he left, mainly because of this

but tims not the real homophobe anyways they shouldn't be blaming him

  • this guy was a prick than i love street light manifesto n im no homiphobe

  • i love streetlight manifesto and im no homiphob my brother is gey so this guy must have been a wanker i got my streetlight t-shirt on now aswell

  • You're all fucking idiots. This song is great, period.

  • Glad somebody said it

    Jamaica can go to hell

  • my favorite song besides life is pain.

  • wow i officically hate leftover crack for making this song

  • @TheIloveblood Homophobe? Racist?

  • @Lolwoo1 Homohate. Hates Nigger.

  • @TheIloveblood thats some pretty rough hatred man. i pity you.

  • @TheIloveblood You won't be missed asshole, the rest of us can have some true Unity. My first arrest was myself (now out as a trans woman) and two sharp boys black and whiite, I found out later that they wanted to jump me for defending gays. sharps are mostly frauds b/c they oppress woman and gays. More punx should make a stand about human rights of oppressed gays. Long live LOC!

  • on the inside of bars ill side with skin(which punk wont) but on the outs i like to rock the pink laces on my boots for my gay brother....this song is for him

  • Im not gay, but this song fuckin rocks. Oi!

  • Seriously, Gay Punk and fucking proud of it, fuck that "Lady Gaga" rubbish, Queer Punks aren't dead and won't be! OI!

  • stza tells me not to listen to op ivy anymore... but i saw no actual sexism in the SONG unity. XD

  • @jasonman05 well if stza said you shouldn't, then he's gotta be right. He also says you should choose between booting up or killing yourself. Tough call, jason. Tough call.

  • @500channels shut up ya negative sumbitch. lol

  • @jasonman05 A.) no one is talking about sexism. B.) it's not about the song unity. it's just ironic that armstrong would preach unity while simultaneously hating gay people.

  • @jasonman05 Do your own thing, listen to what you want.

  • GAY and Proud here in austria! Fuck off hetero pisser

  • @TheChrischi1981 What's wrong with being heterosexual?

  • @Aamonath nothing is wrong with having your own sexuality ...it doesnt matter if someone´s gay or straight or whatever....but if people are homophobe hm..not i good idea ...

  • @TheChrischi1981 Sorry, I guess I misunderstood your comment. I though you were being heterophobic. :{P

Yea, homophobes piss me off a lot. I'm straight, but I'm strongly against any sort of prejudice, and some good friends of mine are queer, so yea. :{P

  • UP THE GAY PUNX N SKINS

  • @nostalgicmusician Same here!

  • I heard Tim Armstrong was sexist but I didn't know he was accused of being homophobic.

  • LOC > Armstrong

  • while i do love this song, I'm no going to just believe Tim Armstrong is homophobic simply because his label has has been involved in some rumored to be homophobic situations. And the US bombs said themselves the lyrics were not intended to be homophobic in any way. Buju banton can go fuck himself, though.

  • GAY RUDE BOYS UNITE!!!

  • anti homophobic, anti racist, anti nazi, anti todo!

  • @juanchosevastian dont 4get anti-cops lol

  • smash on a homophobe!

yo LoC i wanna blaze you guys out!

  • LOVE THIS SONG. ALWAYS HAVE, actually, my fav LoC song, but the bash on Op Ivy that was implied was........dirty.....

  • BEST. TUNE. EVER.

  • Fucking epic

  • is what really counts

so when the time comes that one day we might revolt have a revolution etc whatever

    we know where you stand.

1 man alone cant do shit

so until the day comes that everyone comes together to fix this fucked up world

    support away

cuz there isnt shit else you can do

and wait for that last straw.

  • world trade and heroin have nothing to do together, it's the fact that they support what comes with heroin and they did it many times. he scolds one for being a hypocrite while he's being a major hypocrite.

  • welcome to fucking life dude

i say fuck all those same things but guess what

i still support there bullshit every fucking day

    why

because i live in modern society

no matter what you do your gonna support all the bullshit unless you move to a fucking island secluded from the rest of the world.

life is no longer free due to major corporations and world trade. so as long as your living...your supporting. so which way your supporting is irrelevant. but the fact that your totally against it.....

  • I see what you are saying since you guys live in the states you are already contributing to far worst, I don't see americans as bad people. I understand it's not your fault and my country Puerto RIco benefits lots from the states. Stza is a great musician/songwriter, but I think that he could be a lot better if he stopped being so damn naive.

  • well i guess thats your opinion and i have mine

    naive or not

hes doing good with his gifts as i see

so i wouldnt have it any other way.

gotta take the good with the bad.

  • this song is simply about the black and white everything should be. whether there was another reason he made it is besides the point. he points out either be for you unity or dont theres no in between just like everything else out there should be. those arent his standards....its common fucking sense...though in todays world most ppl lack and make everything more complicated then it really should be.

  • dress code...pfft....it just shows what type of person you are and by you trying to act like your so against conforming you just conforming with the rest of the ppl that talk the same bullshit...theres billions of ppl in this world....no matter what you do your going to be conforming in some way...so get your head out of your ass...id rather see ppl dress how they live because it already gives you a heads up on what type of person they are.....its simple identification. posers..different story.

  • AGT138, I totally identify with you on this, so many people listen to punk and feel obligated to dress like a punk, talk like a punk, and "rebel" like a punk just to become a part of the punk culture, totally missing the fact that their being so hypocritical.

I like Choking Victim and, to a lesser extent, LoC, but I agree, Stza is a rabblerouser. He takes social justice and self-righteousness and blends them together until they're indistinguishable.

  • Cuz Leftover Crack are a bunch of saints. They talk about unity and equality and they are heroin addicts, well Stza is and he's the preachiest of em all.

  • he was on crack not heroin u kno

  • What about the song heroin or suicide? He says heroin, but w/e. The point is that he's so quick to make fun of Operation Ivy and he's not that perfect either. I was into this band and I even own Fuck World Trade, but after finding out all the hypocrisy in stza the damn album became bland and to me.

  • opinions opinions but watever i like operation ivy and leftover crack. no ones perfect obviously but i think op ivy sed sumthing that was homophobic i cant remember i havent heard the song heroin wats it about

  • It's because Op Ivy has some homophobic lyrics and they had an incident once at a aids benefit, a bad joke bad jesse. LoC is a great band, but Stza ruins it, there is wayyy too much brainwashing in his music.

  • you need to stfu all ready and stop preaching yourself. wtf do you want him to sing about. its what he believes in and his views on life and guess what....THERES NOTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THEM....so why the fuck are you talking shit....oh hes done drugs big fucking whoop.....who are you to say what the qualifications of a saint really are....the people who have been the lowest have viewed how to be the highest....go read the bible....most saints started out as dirty as the rest.

  • 5 stars for that comment, you are proving my point. In case you didn't know this song is about how he disapproves of Rancid talking about equality, (Op. Ivy Unity song) because to HIS standards and judgment they don't make the list.

  • its not his standards or judgment

hes a fucking realist just like me

working off of common sense and what is logical

realist dont have standards nor judge

whether we completely agree with it all or not we except the good with the bad.

    we keeps it real.

  • Well it is his judgment, realist or not he is still judging according to what he believes is "real". You still don't get how he is scolding tim for being a hypocrite and he was being one at the moment. I love CV and LoC but if they are going to scold others for shit they are committing also then I will question that's all.

  • well you choose to be difficult like the rest and choose to make what "real" more complex then what it really is. common sense and whats logical makes whats "real". if you dont see anything wrong with being for unity but then spreading a homophobic message then i dont know what else to say to you. LoC never claim to be saints but they are musicians and they are being heard. so they decide to spread there message you choose whether to listen or not. theres no brainwashing unless your weak at mind

  • Ok I notice that you use the word "real" when you can't explain yourself. Yes in that point I agree with stza, preaching unity while being homophobic is very hypocritical. Now we have these guys who say fuck corporations and world trade and they do something like supporting the heroin slave trade, which throws unity out of the window.

  • and either way

whether the song holds personal meaning to Stza

is not really for you to even take into consideration

he made the song by whatever influence and in the end what you get is this song.

not for you to have feelings on why he made it.

and the song as an amazing message in itself

especially if you dont know the stupid irrelevant story behind it.

but i guess you could say this is all my opinion and really dont have to taken into consideration any of what i say

    i just keeps it real.

  • Also Stza has stated very clear in interviews that he sees nothing wrong with brainwashing kids at young ages. He's been asked if he ever worries about influencing younger audiences when it comes to killing cops and he states that he sees nothing in "enlightening" which is a very nice way to avoid the word brainwashing. All these political bands rely on brainwashing so don't be so naive to think that the religious preaching is brainwashing while leftist preaching is not.

  • like i said there isnt any brainwashing unless your weak at mind.

brain washing is pretty much a bunch of bull in itself

cuz really everyone has a different opinion in everything unfortunately

so basically anything with a message can be considered brain washing

so you know what i say

    fuck it

some pigs need to die anywayz.

who are they to run around dictating us.

bunch of self righteous assholes if you ask me.

so if a youth takes the message wrong and kills a cop. o well. good with the bad.

  • The police has done lots of wrong and the whole suit somebody up and give more authority to this guy is very flawed, but to actually talk people into killing cops and ruin that persons life in order to fit in is fucked in so many ways. I see that Stza is using the kill cops message for shock, but you don't know who can get a hold of LoC album and do something stupid for approval/fitting in. Kill a person is not gonna solve shit and your goign to be fucked for life.

  • like i said ppl are going to see things differently

but i still appreciate what hes trying to say

and how fucked shit is so he talks about it in a extremist way

but have you gone and killed a cop because you listen to LoC

    nope neither have i

and neither has alot of ppl

so of course due to probability theres gonna be a kid out there to do so

    oh well

    GOOD WITH THE BAD.

cant have your cake and eat it too.

  • yeah I guess it comes down to who can appreciate the music more, I'm in no way an extremist and I do like music that's not apathetic and actually questions shit going around but LoC can be a bit extremist for me. I guess it's because I'm not from the streets. We all have different views and opinions. I will support LoC if they continue to make music (I highly doubt that they will stick without ezra).

  • what the hell do you know.

what does doing drugs have to do with unity and equality?

  • Umm it has to do LOTS with unity and equality. The people that are under fear and exploited so you can get high would think otherwise. There is slave trade, human trafficking, and sexual slavery behind the heroin. It's hypocritical when they go calling out corporations and homophobes and they are doing something as worst as what they do.

  • you think all drugs are made by children and slaves?

  • No but that's the cycle that they support when they buy from a drug lord.

  • Any one else heard the Instrumental version, i like both version but i like the instrumental one better.

  • hey hey hey.... Street light manifesto is a great band, dont let a couple of homo's turn you off to them. crack:

  • fuck yeah streetlight are good

  • homophobe.

  • The worst part is when a kid in a streetlight manifesto t-shirt was the one throwing the lit cigarette at me and my same-sex boyfriend when we were walking down the street. I guess even fans of ska (like me) can be stupid.

  • Ignorance can happen anywhere.

  • @zipzapzop93 People are assholes man. Keep fighting! keep being a punk!
