I love this guy! So refreshing. I'm a fingerstylist and man watching Jason is so inspiring! Keep it up Jason, we love your work out here. Any plans for a how to DVD or do you already have one out? Peace. : )
Frankly, its crazy how good you are. I can't imagine learning two instruments like you had to do, but God damn you are so good at those songs. Kudos man and keep up the good work.
@monkymonk6 Surely you're exaggerating? It's not any 'harder' to play, in fact, it's easier (if you play touchstyle, that is). More range, more freedom...
I do believe I've seen and talked to you briefly at Bloor and Yonge. I didn't get your name, but I've been thinking nonstop about getting two more strings. Between you and Tosin Abasi I'm gonna have some shedding to do!
very cool piece, im learning it, too bad clifford did not write more pieces like that, he died so young with bud powell´s brother in a car accident :(
Very impressive. Being a big Lenny Breau fan I was amazed to hear Jason as I was getting off the Subway one day. I had to tell him how much I enjoyed his playing when he finished the tune, and he was most gracious and personable.
thats weird, ive never heard of that tuning before. I have an ibanez rg 8 string, and it came in the tuning i suggested. perhaps jazz players use a different tuning? the metal bands i hear all use F# as well.
That is incredible playing, and a great song! It sounded like you're playing the bass line too?!, but some of the frequencies are too low for these laptop speakers. That is amazing!
i love jazz guitar and follow many guitarists in that gere, but who the fuck are you i never heard of you?id love to know how the fuck you do that man, your one of the most amazing guitarist ive ever seen ya shithead.lol wish i couod do that..bet you score heaps of pussy with playing thast shit.
Yeah man! So refreshing to hear real swing chord melody. The sea of "polite" harmonics-laden tunes is swelling to excessive porportions. Kind of makes me weep for the conservatism of 6 string culture and it's industry's excesses.
Hey jason its yousef from dundas station haha, i love this song man and thanks for the cd it rocks, i look forward to some more vids they are awesome!.
Thats wonderful. If you had a drummer, I would confuse you for a trio if I didn't see it with my own two eyes. I wished you lived around me so I could hire you.
Hi Jason. Good to see that you still have your chops. Earth Grounds sends you all the best. Cheers. Ed H. PS My daughter is now playing thanks to your inspiration.
HOLLY COW!! that is awesome. I never comment on anything here really, but i just have to say, I am a HUGE fan of you now. Hopefully you will check out some of my stuff on here and dig it. Keep on rockin man...
Wonderful, much more creative than those metal players who just want to play as low as possible.

Is that a self-made instrument? If not, who did you have build it/where did you find it?
It's cool.
Less visually 'metal' than the Agiles. I'm not overly concerned with the æsthetics of a tool, but I am concerned.
