nice oven mitts, i bet baking is pretty nice with those.... and i like the idea of having full extension with my hands..........yeaaa............... im just gonna go buy regular linemen gloves
Good luck with that one. They should be called the no "blocking" gloves though. These only would ok if your pass blocking only, you have to grab to run block.
Those look like they would only work for ot's because normally they don't go in a three point stance. Other o line men won't work because the get down in a 3 point stance and that make a four point
@warriorprince1010 much more than that...ill just talk about the offense to give you an idea. The lineman block, the recievers catch the ball on most pass plays, but block on run plays, the quarterback either throws the ball, runs, or hands it off to the runningback, fullback, or in some cases even recievers. the positions besides lineman are referred to as the "skill positions"...and thats just the simplification of offensive positions...i could explain more but its a lot
@planefreak3 You have explained that each player only does one thing, except the QB. So no they do very little, and learn few skills. Only two people in a play touch the ball, the rest merely block. A low skilled sport I am afraid.
its obvious u never played line u DUMB BASTARD!! if u did u wud know that u block wit your thumbs up & hands turned sideways so u dont break ur wrists. Think before u comment U DICKHEAD!!
U wont get ur hands thrown away if u shoot them out fast & get inside 1st. Yo its obvious u dnt play football & if u do u dont play line. SHUT THE FUCK UP about wat u dont know & keep it movin ASSHOLE!!
@bluedevilfan1234 dude you are a idiot you have your thumbs up and hands sideways for a reason so you can grab hold to the inside of the d lineman or who ever your blockings pads and in a pass rush you have them tilted sideways so you can deliver a punch with the bottom part of your palms. you my friend suck
Linemen hold on almost every play. I am one, and it's just a natural instinct. It's whether or not it's a big enough of a deal for the ref to see it and call it. It's inevitable. It just happens. The gloves might help, but they most likely would interfere with you natural human hand abilities.
As an offisive right guard this seems like a good thing and also an inconvience. The good thing is that it wontallow precious yardage to get away from a big gain. The bad thing is probably the flexibilty for some people. But overall I think its great 8 out of 10.
as a runnning back i agree that it is very frustrating to get a touchdown then have it called back because of holding so i say yes to practice but no to games.Keep it up Line Men with out you we running backs wouldnt make it.
As a little league coach, I think this is a good idea it will help with teaching the basics to kids. Unlike umfpred this idea will help to teach kids 5-12 how to play there positions and leave the more advance techniques to High school and college coaches.
As a line coach I would use this in practice only. Just like the WR training gloves Jerry Rice created that only allows a WR to use their fingertips. Good concept, but I would highly recommend practice use only. Looks like a butt pad taped to a player's hand.
wont ever work... Offense of lineman are taught to grab clothe and keep the defense in close so they dont get holding calls. The only time there really is a hold is when the offense of lineman gets beat
I thought you're suppose to grab their pads underneath the shirt, but never reach out at defender.

The proper blockiinq technique is with your thumbs up & hands turned sideways.

good idea, but it has no appeal. no one would wear these for fear of being made fun of. make the curb appeal better, and then youve got a product.
