The bat turning into stone is actually pretty disturbing... it wouldn't be so bad if it died, but you clearly see that it's blinking and moving it's eyes, so it's still alive, but it's made of stone so it can't move and most likely can't die... it's the classic "fate worse than death".

I'm surprised by the lack of people quoting the Nostalgia Critic right now. It's a relief, actually. I swear, every time he reviews a movie, people look for clips specifically for the sake of quoting him. And like others say, I like this song only for its rhythm. In fact, that's the case with every song in this movie. The lyrics are lame and cheesy but the rhythm is very nice to listen to.

As a fellow animator, I admire Don Bluth's artistic style but I was never a big fan of his storytelling. Nevertheless, the villain songs in his movies due the artwork justice.
The movie itself is nothing more then a pathetic excuse to promote the environment without succes but this songs rocks! Gnorga's laughable but the song is really good. But I won't watch the entire movie for this.
This song isn't in the same caliber as In the Dark of the Night, Hellfire, or to me the ultimate villain song Be Prepared, but it is still pretty enjoyable.

Wow... so many memories from this movie. This was way back in the day when 2D was (and still is IMO) the shit! Wow. Thanks for this man! Gnorga was the meanest bitch around!

The movie is fairly mediocer but it's songs never die. And as usual, the villan song is the best.
