Why he wasted so much time with the rest of the album? Dunkelheit, Erblicket...und Jesus Tod are brillant, but the 10 minute track later, without guitar, is wasted time, i think. Just one more Guitarsong with this sound/mastering....whatever.
i love the song. but i see the romantic in the lyrics. to the past, or a thing that happend in the past. or to better times. but its also very good to fuck your girl, earplugs in and go! and than do it so you come on the last ''eternally'' scream!!! thats insane.
Varg makes such intense music. It is almost trance-like. Once you get into Burzum it kindof just plays in the back of your head when you are working or doing whatever...But I prefer volume on 100% in my headphones, walking throught a snow covered forest at dusk.
The production is very far from shitty. It might be over-distorted and cheap, but it's made that way for a reason. It just wouldn't sound right otherwise. It's all about the atmosphere.
I don't know if Varg is a genious. His music may be repetitive, simplist, it may have too much drone or be too low-produced and anything you want. But, enjoying this amazing song is priceless, and nothing that anyone says on Burzum's music matters to me.

I know. But I`m from Germany, and here we often say it in German. Vikernes likes Germany and its language a litle bit more than other country, i think. And the titles of all tracks is written in german on the backside of the cd.

Why he wasted so much time with the rest of the album? Dunkelheit, Erblicket...und Jesus Tod are brillant, but the 10 minute track later, without guitar, is wasted time, i think. Just one more Guitarsong with this sound/mastering....whatever.

Varg makes such intense music. It is almost trance-like. Once you get into Burzum it kindof just plays in the back of your head when you are working or doing whatever...But I prefer volume on 100% in my headphones, walking throught a snow covered forest at dusk.

The production is very far from shitty. It might be over-distorted and cheap, but it's made that way for a reason. It just wouldn't sound right otherwise. It's all about the atmosphere.

I don't know if Varg is a genious. His music may be repetitive, simplist, it may have too much drone or be too low-produced and anything you want. But, enjoying this amazing song is priceless, and nothing that anyone says on Burzum's music matters to me.
