@nuorangejapan dont know, i think theyre more modern. its easier when you glance down to get a very accurate reading, rather than taking a tiny bit longer to see where the gauge is at (millisecond difference but still). you can fit more info into a smaller space as well, fuel, temp etc. its just preference i guess, i just like them & how they look haha
@ jyrosis, Straight answer...a newbie shouldn't be starting out on a superbike....at the absolute MOST you should start with a Ninja 650 or something similiar...learn then step up.
i wana here your advice im new to superbikes i just sold my nissan 350z last month and im planning to get a superbike im thinking of spening $10,000 - $12,000 i want something that is realible, power and something that a newbie like me can handle so please i wanna here your suggestions i will appreciate it
I always wanted to have a Harley but here in Brazil they are soooo freaking expensive. I might have one brought in from the States some day, but I think I'm gonna end up going for a ninja as my first bike. P.S:Thats if I can get my dad to stop freaking out about me getting a bike... lol
I've drive motorcycles every fucking day, drunk, high it dosnt matter. However I'm planning to change that, no more drunken madness and such. I've have driven most 100cc+ bike's available here in South East Asia and I'm getting used to driving(feel like i'm getting good at it), i have no problems driving the shit out of the average thai even though the have driven bike's they were 10year old. I need something new, no more 110cc... NINJA TIME FUCKERS!!!
@Quzmo yea I think it's a good starter bike, however I havent heard good things about the longevity though. But i plan on getting a different bike later on. This bike is awesome though lol =)
@klopatnik Hello, we do not have color codes available, but color matched paint for most Kawasaki products can be easily obtained from Color Rite. Thank you.
@klopatnik its cool isnt it, i also didnt know the code but when i went to paint job shop they told me its the kawasaki lime green, try it . . .they might get what ur saying . . .its the same as the one seen in Lambos . .
@hvf26 If they put in electronic gauges, that will cause the prices of the bikes to rise. If you want one, buy one and install it, they aren't that hard.
@ExiN1nja price of the ninja in australia is already about 7.2k for the carby model. way too much for it to not have an electronic gauge already fitted, its ridiculous. for that price it should already have EFI and the electronic gauge
@FoxyFiLMz then i would recommend going ahead with the 250, since you have some experience with it already. as well that you already have confidence in yourself with it.
@FoxyFiLMz which did you sit on, 650 or the 250 ? and id say if you can sit on it comfortably, as well as walk the bike sitting on it forwards and backwards without having to get off of it then id say it will be fine for you. I would try IF you are able to drive it at like 5-10 mph then make up a pretend line to be a stop sign, and try doing a rolling to complete stop with the brake and see if you find yourself about to wobble and test the control/balance you have over it.
@FoxyFiLMz Depends, are you an experienced rider, or a new rider? personally i would say the 250R just because it would be easier to get used to, more financially affordable, and i believe depending on your height and weight it will be easier to stand by urself without falling over
@IEROEI I told the teacher, I told the teacher. Na nanna boo boo you eat shoo shoo. ( Thats what you sound like). Man you are an idiot. Why would you report him (Tim) when you started it and then you started on me and (Eatmybologna) . You need to get yourself one of those things called a LIFE because I think you are just too sensitive to be here. Get your mommy to powder your little tushy and give you a juice box so that you can calm down ok.
@IEROEI Well if you want to beat something maybe you better practice on your little string in the bathroom. You cant handle this and that is obvious. When your parents knock on the door just tell them that you are washing your hands REALLY good. hahaha . Are you a liberal dem by chance?
@bramthun12 Parent (especially dads) will never approve. You've just got to go buy it , go for a few rides and then offer him a ride. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 18, and believe me when I say that my dad threw a fit initially. You've just got to go ahead and do it yourself.
@vetiarvind the only thing is, I just bought a terminator cobra and i had to have my dad cosign it and i doubt the bank will let me take out another loan or add to the one i have without consulting him first. i could save up 4k but thatll take me a little while.
@Harmonyww Great, such a fun bike to ride, and despite what the know-it-alls have said, it holds its own very well on the highway, I can get to 150kmph with ease.
