I don't think that many artist have much choice in choosing not to perform or not. Like Beyonce now. She have that video what's it called Countdown I think?
Video seems aproximately 6 minutes to long. No offense but this is the Age of ADD, if you wish to spread information, ideas, thoughts - think efficiency and relevance :)
being a woman is not all about motherhood. what is sacred to some may not be to others. the statement in the video that suggest creation is humans greatest power is an opinion based statement and in no means a fact. ive mention this to lennon honor as well. this may sound good to some people , but at the end of the day we as humans make our own choices and have that right. who are you to say what is and what is not sacred?
@MackBittles I agree, however I still say that you are a guy and don't have a clue about pregnancy! Yes there ARE indeed far worse threats to the femanine that this, however THIS is the start of it.. think of the snow ball effect!
@MackBittles and if you cant have kids? say you were born without the ability to have kids, then what? are you any less sacred then? are you not a woman? c'mon now. these are man made concepts and constructions. you are a human being.
@live4pce Even if a woman is barron she still has a nurturig nature. In fact a woman who is barron would be even more disgusted at what is happening in this video, becasue she would respect the miracle and life growing in her womb.
@MissConceptions1 yet and still more opinion. not all woman are nurturing or are born with nurturing tendencies. your idea of respect may not be the same. who are you to say she is wrong and of what authority do you stand to say that your position is correct over someone else? how do you know that she doesn't respect and love and cherish her child? so her performing and doing what she loves brings harm or disrespect to her child? "you say infact a barron woman..." OPINION ..not fact.
@live4pce My 'opinion' is based on medical facts for one... are you a woman? Have you ever carried a child? I would like to know that as it is important to know if you have ever experienced being a mother and carrying a life in your womb? There are also many medical implications to consider here too.
@MissConceptions1 show me a medical fact that says all women are nurturing and that woman are sacred becasue of childbearing. yes im a woman. no i dont have any children as of yet.
@MissConceptions1 and yet you have rebutted any of my claims smh lol sheer ignorance. woman are not defined by child bearing....otherwise women who cant have children are worthless.
@MissConceptions1 very immature way to end a debate/ disscussion....thats like me saying. youre a muslim, thats all i need to know lol have a good life. the quran is crap btw.
@live4pce Yes and according to you so is the Bible lol Both of which you haven't read, or understood... the same as you haven't experienced having a baby or motherhood yet are an expert.. no debate is needed as you also fail to understand the significance of what you have stated yourself. From what I have read in your other comments elsewhere you come across as a very angry person, so I don't explaining anything will get through to a person like you.
@MissConceptions1 lol see this is why ppl like you make me angry. you make assumptions. i have read the bible and i know the principals well. i was once a minister in fact. why would you just make an assumption about someone. you just a make an ass outta your self lol. ive read them and understand i simply no longer agree. im not an angry person im just passionate about certain subject and after encountering hundreds of ppl like urself self anyone would come off as "angry"
@MissConceptions1 the problem is you religious people feel as if your moral code is THE moral code and its just not that simple. your "holy" books are barley moral. fact remains the being a woman is not all about motherhood or creating. men create as do all other living things. some women and men have no desire to have children at all. who are you to say they are wrong? no one.
@live4pce No dear, the problem is that you criticise everything you lack understanding of and have not studied, so you can chant your objections all over the internet all you like.. you have not experienced motherhood, have never carried a baby yet are an 'expert' on the experience itself. You have never read, studied nor understand any of the Holy books yet are an expert... that is the problem. Aside from you angry spurts and personal views, you basically attack what you have no clue about!
@MissConceptions1 never have i said i was an expert on anything let alone motherhood. stop putting words in my mouth & making assumptions. what u have to realize is ur views are not finite. ur bible or quran is not everyones truth. ive never said anything about carrying a child. i simply said that what is sacred to some may not be sacred to others. do you kno what sacred means? if you did you wold understand the point im trying to get across. just becuz i dont agree doesnt make me ignorant.
@live4pce Ahh so your oppinions and views are based on what? Study? research? Experience? Understanding cannot come on mere heresay and speculation and THAT is my point which you also seem not to understand! I couldn't give a toss that you do not agree with me, firstly because of the above reasons I have stated and secondly because there are always going to be sheeple in the yellow zone of your American Fema Camps!
@live4pce I totally agree with, nor do they learn anything in the way of study and research! Its easy to brush something aside becasue you don't have the intelligence to study it, so yea, save you chanting rants for somewhere else lol
Ok...who are YOU to say that M.I.A. is trivializing her pregnancy? Slave women worked in the fields, birthed their babies and went back to work.
Pregnancy id NATURAL. Performing is natural to M.I.A. why would she act outside of her norm just because she was " due " ( She danced! Movement is ENCOURAGED during labor. She sang! Many cultures chanting for pain management and focus during pregnancy and labor.
I don't see a problem with MIA. And I think that you need to stop being so judgemenral..
@MackBittles The difference is that 'slave' women were 'forced' to work in fileds while heavily pregnant, many died giving birth as a result, and many had misscarrigaes as well. Chanting for pain management during labour is NOT the same as prancing about a stage. I am going to assume that you are a man with no experience of pregnancy!
Everyone is preoccupied with materialism, that that very baby is in that womb being processed into this hell, not even the unborn is safe! . No one is quiet, she isnt worried, we are a product in the matrix, not a true soul soul, I pray for awakening. I teach, I study, lets do our part.
That was grotesque. I would hope all women waiting for their babies to arrive would do themselves the service of relaxing and tuning in to the spiritual aspect of having a child.
seriously, i know women who work until they go into labor. i mean, they leave the job and go straight to the hospital. because they have to. looks like m.i.a. is doing what she's got to do. have a little compassion for these evil ones. they're human, too.
I'm not shocked...pregnant prostitutes are selling their services for as little as $50 bucks on the internet...as well as expectant mothers doing voilent and degrading pornography scenes..this what happens when women buy into the idea that they don't need to be protected...
@KevinX704, women with a CLITORIS OR MEN who PRETEND being another woman do not need portection. If you look worldwide, more MEN (those who have a PENIS between their legs and used women as prostitutes). Genders are to genders and the MIX do NOT work because homosexuals are homosexuals heterosexuals are heterosexuals.
Listen... She has to make a living, she under a ontract for 1, if she has to get up and tend to a concert then she has to. Someone in her camp should have told her not tobut its all for the money, that isnt worth the ink that's on it but never the less the bill collectors want it, so I cant really blame her in a sence, but at the same time I understand or overstand your point, If she was just at a club then yes your right but this wasnt a club it was her job.

Tome she looks brave and beautiful. Her child will see this one day and know that his/ her mom was proud of her beautiful pregnant body and was blessed to be healthy enough to do this. Some woman can't even get out of bed when they are that far along. Just because she performed doesn't make her baby any less important or her act of giving birth to a child any less sacred.
