I saw these same guys perform in 2009, except that I saw them in Chattanooga. It was an awesome show. I always thought it was funny to watch the bassist play his guitar. He always had that little swagger to him.
I thought the drummer was awsome! I don't think he was over powering the group, the snare drum which you heard, did stand out, but overall I must say he did a great job. Thank you for posting all of these!
Drumsinstopmotion - that's not exactly right. Chip Davis doesn't tour anymore, so he created two groups - one touring the east coast and one touring the west coast. He split the other veteran players up between the two groups and added younger musicians to fill out both line ups. Both groups play the same concert. It think it's great he is finding a way to keep the music going even if he cannot tour. I saw this Indy show and it was outstanding!!!!
The drummer in this group is Tom Sharpe, who also plays with my favorite singer of all time, Dennis DeYoung. Tom is amazing with both groups! I saw this show in Indy and it was awesome!!!
The thing people don't realize is this isn't "Mannheim" this one of their smaller travling bands. Although their drummer has a better preance than Chip.
Sounds like Mario Kart:Christmas Edition :D

They came to Augusta, Georgia last year. 2010 I was just blown away. It just took your breath away. I won't ever forget that show.
