in the UK for example, the industrial revolution (fossil-fueled) allowed population to double, double, and double again. so the UK could have 3 full generations of 1child policy and still not "die out". the extra prosperity was down to fossil-fuels, not more hands & minds. very few people do usefull or pioneering work. What I know is that there are tax credits and grants for green technologies, which should help create jobs and help secure our energy needs for the future. But because of some of the things Obama has put in place my girlfriend and I have been able to return to school while we are mostly able to stay at home with our son. Both my girlfriend and I will now have healthcare, something both of us has never been able to afford. The big three will have to stop producing wasteful vehicles. The list goes on and on.
