  • I would like ask the Academy if it would be possible to have a segment in next year's Oscars dedicated to dance doubles. Not taking away any credit from Natalie Portman because she was outstanding as an actress in this movie, but I do believe that the dance double Sarah Lane had an involvement since dancing is part of the overall acting achievement. We should recognize Chryssie Whitehead, Marine Jahan, Acacia Schachte for their dedication, and end with Sarah Lane's Coda from Black Swan

  • MTV Awards 2011 Recap

Natalie Portman: Hey Kristen Stewart. You can keep the popcorn.

  • Should have gone to Michelle WIlliams. WAYYY better than NAtalie

  • She must thank Mila, they made a great team, one without the other would not be the same. Natalie and Mila up!!

  • If only her acting was this good in the Star Wars prequels.

  • She was the leading lady in star wars she should be ten times more famous

  • so so so happy for her! And don't even start with the "Someone else should've won" crap... the best won. Period.

  • Jennifer should have won.

  • Why would The Academy pick out that clip from The Kids Are All Right? Just to show once and for all how ignorant they were for not nominating Julianne Moore? She's clearly the best.

  • I love Natalie Portman, but I wished she hugged her co-stars and the people in her movie.

  • Well done, Natalie Portman. It'd be nice to see Annette Bening win an Oscar though. I feel bad, she always give

  • I love her :)

  • So in love with that girl!

  • Natalie deserved the Oscar, but I wish her speeches weren't so freaking boring.

  • REALLY wanted Annette to win already!! Natalie has PLENTY of freakin time to get an Oscar. Annette is a CLASS act and although she clapped in a sweet way, in her mind she had to be like WTF is the deal/ beef w/ the Academy voters!l

  • @Jako32 It's not a matter of whose turn it is or what age they are. It's who had the best acting and character development, and even though Annette is a great actress, this one was undeniably going directly to Natalie for her artistic mastery.

  • @Jako32 People like you are so fucking annoying. That is not the whole point of the Oscars. You are supposed to vote for the best performance. It doesn't matter if Natalie has plenty of time. If they think she deserved it, why would they not vote for her? Not because of her age. This is why Jeff Bridges won for Crazy Heart and not for True Grit. They were just so eager to give him an Oscar. Couldn't they have waited.

  • She is such a sweetheart. It's amazing how she thanks all the "little people" as well as the bigger ones, she is such a sweet person

  • i feel for anneth.she has to sit there while a younger actress takes an award ahead of her.i think the acedemy made a mistake of rewarding hillary swank a second oscar .the role she played was still in line with her first performance,in million dollar baby she bulked up like a man to play a boxer and in boys dont cry she played a girl wanting to be a boy.

  • Thanks for putting this online!

I have been searching for an uncut video of this since I've heard the news!

I really don't know why there isn't any other such vid online yet!

This camerashot is still way better than nothing, so again: You have my thanks!

  • I'm not a big fan of hers but she absolutely deserved this

  • I think she forgot to thank Mila "sweet lips" Kunis.

  • @TheMrspatzy And she forgot to thank George Lucas too. Did anybody know who she was before the Star Wars Prequels? Don't get me wrong I love her and the performances she bring to the table, but damn.

  • Prego Oscar win.

  • i am so happy,she won!!!!!!!!!!

  • "get to do the job i do" i thought she went to harvard university, she needs to work on her grammer. lol

  • @obama123456789 It is called emotion.

  • @Eilliniel i guess your right, she was probably very nervous up there

  • @obama123456789 So, how would you say this?

  • @obama123456789 Grammar.

    Irony.

  • Thanks for posting - we can't stay up that late - Natalie is a wonderful actress and role model - her parents did a good job and she did a great job of fulfilling her promise and then some - keep up the good work - the world needs good examples - especially these days in our behavior challenged societies of greed, and violence, where honesty is all out of fashion.

  • SHE WAS PERFECT.

  • love u NATALIEE <3

  • @amarantineundomiel That's from Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, the ballet from the film.

  • @amarantineundomiel It is a classical piece of music - music for the ballet Swan Lake by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

  • and here comes the curse

  • I don't like her. Yes she is an amazing actress but i just don't like her. :/ But besides the fact the i don't like her doesn't mean she didn't deserve the Oscar. I think she is one of the finest acting i have ever seen. Well done Portman.

  • totally deserved it!!!! she`s awesome

  • I'm just glad she didn't laugh. (See her Golden Globe speech for more info)
