THE TRUE STORY: He was all messed up on New Years eve, driving dow the road, then he made a left turn and crashed into a brick wall. The seat belt was not clicked- in and it cut his arm off. : ( Total bummer man. He was a great rock n' roll drummer.

Ok. A few things wrong. The M25 is a lot more than 2 miles from Sheffield, where the accident happened. The centre lines in England are white, not yellow. The other car was supposed to be an Alfa Romeo, that was a Jaguar. In the real crash, Allen's car went through a stone wall and ended up on its roof. The car here went through a metal guard rail and ended up on its wheels

I am not a massive fan of Def Leppard, I just like their music, However this drummer has taught a valuable lesson to the whole world. This lad can do what many drummers do with 2 hands. For me he is one of he best drummers, quick very quick. Plus he really has the juice in his whole body to play as quick as he does. Either you are a complete drummer with every part of your body (legs too) or you are not. Just as many can not even use a simple base. Learn from him people.

That Corvette must have had a faulty engine during most of the video. The pedal was floored several times and nothing happened. Then suddenly all Hell breaks lose with it. Rick was caught off guard and lost control - and an arm. A rather lame video.

@czsolt5 the thrue story is that we where driving on a sunny sundaymorning around Sheffield and that the car infront of us, a silvercoloured alfa romeo, was giving us a hard time, so Rick had to hit the gas to be able to pass them. THERE WAS NO COCAINE INVOLVED AT ALL, we just had to much speed to make the coming corner, lots of love, Miriam Barendsen (former girlfriend)
