Anigiano - got a padKontrol and love it, you will too, very versatile, on the other hand I probably would have picked up a mpc if i knew before hand it can be used either solo or as a midi controller... smaller, lighter, runs off of usb or battery or dc...
in regards to the software stray411, keep em coming! to others join the forum and help out!
