Yeah, they didn't rip it off per se, but I really think that it is the same melody; the placement of the horn part, the same key, the same register, the same chanting vocal melody. What I guess I mean is that I would be surprised to find out that they didn't hear this song before recording, and/or that they didn't base their song on this recording.

@Ethaneeze I don't know. That horn pattern is used in a lot of soul and funk. Stax sounds especially. Saying My Morning Jacket ripped it off, is like saying that every Chicago sound was a rip-off of "Got to Get You Into My Life."
