Oh, come on. Kilpatrick wasn't even charged till March 2008, a full 10 months AFTER this speech in May 2007. Since then, Obama publicly says Kilpatrick should resign. To claim Obama "endorses" would be like claiming McCain "endorses" Dubya (who only got 8 minutes' time to speak at the 2008 RNC, not even in person; Cheney was conveniently out of the country - both recently at the head of the party). So Obama could not magically forecast a year in advance that Kilpatrick would be charged, huh.
