  • That was so amazing and full of feeling! I am in awe of your musical talent.

  • There's a storm outside my house at the moment and this fits perfect. The last time I listened to this during a storm one of the accents of the piece came at the same time as the thunder and lighting. It was brilliant.

  • very impressive....it gives me chills!!

  • The chord changes from 2:50 to 3:30 are beautiful by the way. ;)

  • Did you say steak?

Aw, now you got me all excited!

    ;)

    -Sarkon

  • If you ever put these on a disk, a sold them... I'd buy. This is a beautiful piece. <3

  • music to my ears. (:

i think i'm becoming quite the fan...

  • Still Alive reference! (From portal0

Hey Seabass, the cake was a lie!

  • ;_;

  • I've watched a couple of your vids already and they are very inspiring for me. I always try to write my own music after i listen, but I just can't. DX

  • yes u can

  • i know... but i can't make anything that i can actually play really well (some of them i can) but the songs aren't that great...

  • Comment removed

  • wow man you are a killer on the piano boy i wish i could play like that how long have you been playing like that

i come on youtube all the time for music but i want to learn to read music do you know where i could go to learn?

  • woot! i cant get the playstation emulator to work so i might get these!

  • This is really fantastic! I just listened to it, with a storm outside. Thunder and lightening and pouring rain, and this went along really perfectly. Amazing work!

  • as much as i would love to download your inprovisions, i just downloaded final fantasy tactics and our computer is slow enough sorry!

  • It's beautifull!

  • i do belive-you're a genious

    and

i do belive-you haved moved me,

be it indoors or out in the pouring rain

  • This is awesome, gave me chills! lolz

  • Although I do agree with the idea that your music does sound alot like Shimomura's work you also put your twist on things. In this I really can see what you're seeing in it. The roll of thunder and the scramble to get indoors, the first drop, the drizzle, to the steady rain, to the clash of thunder and wind. I've always loved your music because you can "feel" it, not just hear it.

  • i definitely agree!

  • Guy, I gotta say, I love your work but all of your pieces sound too much like kingdom hearts, not an insult, and your jazz was not very successful since you sounded like you were continuosly reverting back to your classical style throughout the song.

  • Hm, true - Shimomura has been a huge influence for my own style. The "jazz" is probably the closest thing to my own composition for something that might actually fit the game. I can only continue playing and define and refine my own style...

  • Wonderful. I loved this music. Greeting :)) Nice to you are still alive:))

  • stunning as usual. i really love listening to you play. keep it coming.

  • your my new hero...

  • wow.. this is the most beautiful thunderstorm i have ever heard =D.. it'd be cool to hear an "after" version if you went back and refined some rough spots.. nonetheless, great work =) can wait for more

  • Wootles! I love it!

...You're alive! Yeees! Good job, Sebastian!

  • You have a distinct style =)

  • Yeah, trying to get away from it ...

  • why? I love it.

  • ....I like it! ^-^ It's really very pretty, and I think my favorite part would actually have to be the use of rhythm and the higher notes. Very nice, and so beauitful I do believe it nearly moved me to tears.

  • It's a bit different than my other improvs; I'm glad you like the stuff I used (er, tried) with this one :D

  • I would say most of the meaningful art is "depessed" as you would say. I personally think this is great, I wish I could be even a quarter as brilliant as you are.

  • im not feelin this one that much

  • i noticed that most of your improvosations seem to sound very "depressed" almost. it may just be me...

  • Maybe that's how he feels inside.

If he did a happy improv and didn't feel happy it wouldn't sound half as good.

  • ...or maybe not. I can just put more emotion into minor pieces. (aka, I'm not emo?)

  • It's like depressing jive music. XD I love it.

  • depressing jive, eh? :p

  • Yes, depressing jive. I subject it to my own interpretation. XD

  • you're amazing

  • when you have a CD I want to buy it!

  • you owned in that shit nice job

  • it sounds INSANE.

A brilliant, twisted type of insane :]

I wish I could see your hands perform though, that would make the video more visually stimulating

  • Very interesting - it definitely had a sense of "action" about it (for lack of better words). Nice work.

  • MWUHAHAHAHAH !!! O,..,O!!!

I luuuuvvv ttthheee ttuuunnneee and melllooodddy

  • wow your back! and as amazing as ever!

  • Wow this is cool.

My problem with improv's is that I will play a really great part, and then I'll play somethign I dont like as much. So I'll stop, because I didnt like the part I just played.

When you play an improv, do you do one take?

And IMPROV?!?! as in, you don't know what you'll do until you play it? I want some tips :P

  • Don't stop. This'll sound a tad abstract, but let the music guide you. If you come to a part you don't like as much, move on; find another melody, different harmonics, other dynamics, whatever. I'm unhappy with more than half of the improv. A lot is just experimentation, throwing down my hands on the keys; seeing what sounds decent. There's some thought to it (with theory and whatnot), but I just let the music guide me. Hope this helps..?

  • Thank you! Perhaps this will give me the help to finally record an improv.

  • Looking forward to it!

  • Beautiful!

  • Great!

  • Sounds like beast's castle a little. Awesome improv

  • Great improv , its a shame about the mistakes which - if not present would have made this a really amazing piece

  • mengzor.

When you say something like that, you should mark some of the "mistakes" out. Otherwise it's not constructive criticism - just criticism. :)

  • well... the parts where he mis-keys and/or plays more than one key at the same time is what i had in mind.

  • You can't really make mistakes if it's improvised...Great job by the way.

  • I love this.

Also, the cake is a lie!

  • This improv was a triumph... I'm making a note here, huge success. 5*

  • Awesome.

    I love your improvs.

  • *sniffs* mm smells like rain.

  • I really like it and I'm impressed by this and that you are able to make up an own piece. Very nice that it becomes more powerful to the end, but I think it should be a bit more stronger for fitting into the scene of a storm. But that's absolutely nonrelevant because this piece is very impressing like it is.

  • have you done this song by yourself ?

  • I-M-P-R-O-V-S-A-T-I-O-N.

  • This was so amazing, I'd never be able to come up with such lovely work on the piano. But you just seem to take over that piano, and go with the flow! Again, amazing work! ^_^

  • I just stopped whatever I was doing and stood in my room listening to this. I absolutely love everything about this.. And even if you make mistakes, which I could somewhat hear, you were able to resolve them and make it seem natural. Amazing as always ;]

  • Ah whoops, didn't read the description so carefully. But anyway the accidentals make everything awesomer. =P

  • Don't they? :D

  • Heck yes! =P

  • this is probably the best of yorus so far. really awsome

  • wow, i even had to stop listening to class to hear this masterpiece. im impress, keep going on man, for ppl like u i live. im just aiming to have a bit of the talent u have but that takes time and i will keep in practice. ur great and please dont let us wait for another

  • GREAT JOB MAN! I like to improvise too(of course I'm not anywhere near your level) because I love to get that great feeling into playing. You really did great job trasferring feelings to this melody. Keep doing what you do best!

  • very nice

  • I love this :D

  • Do i see a reference to Portal in the description? ;-)

  • Why, yes. Cake for you!

  • Thank you! I have listened to this song three times now and it sounds darn good, keep up the good work!

  • HUGE SUCCESS!

Nicely done. I can only wish to improvise like that.

  • Hey, anyone can. Just don't .. think about what you're doing and just play.

Hm, I stopped making sense 20 seconds ago. ¬.¬

  • this is very good!! seriously!! it has a good feeling. its sad.. very beautiful!

    remember me??

    Take care,

    Sum16kwt

  • THE CAKE IS A LIE.

Great improv though Seb. Beautiful. You're so far above me :(
