I was emotionally abused as a child by my dad and struggled with thoughts of suicide. By God's grace I have forgiven my dad and our relationship is being restored.
Our daughter was born at 28 weeks and had a 50/50% chance of survival. She is now 13 months old and getting ready for a little brother.

It is the only way that you will help you stay on the path that you are on right now.. it is the way you build a real relationship with Jesus :-)....to be honest it is not easy to do...The devil makes things on the outside look so attractive and appealing . But stay strong :-)
I used to be controlled by fear, almost to the point of OCDs........now I'm not. I experienced shattering rejection that paralyzed me to the point of being an emotional wreck...now I'm confident, accepted, and comfortable with who I am. I use my rejection to reach out to others who don't belong. :) Jesus did that.
if i got pregnant due to rape i'd abort right away...i could never look int he eyes of a child created by such evil actions!!!!! i'd rather aborted...
That's a natural feeling - and very understandable. But here's the thing, when God works in us, He takes us out of our natural and sometimes destructive responses to tragic situations, and beyond our own human limitations. His love conveys a power that both heals the pain and the anger, and also brings deep love for a child you would have hated. That's what this testimony is all about.

The way i see it is that God made that child knowing it would be a blessing in the end. Gods plans for each and every person started even before genesis chapter 1. he though of making adam and eve and knew then that every person here today by name, what they were going to look like, their personality, all because he loves us! God is Good!
@heavenlycharm86 It's not the child's fault. God would give you the strength to raise your child and love your child in spite of the circumstances of conception. It's amazing the kind of strength God can give us when we think we can't do something. Philippians 4:13
Wherever people argue for abortion people say rape is a reason for it. You know thats a woman in Christ who chose life, and she cherishes that child! I am just so greatful to the Lord, God is so good! What an emotional video. @squishmush I don't see what's rude, I was very serious. There's a rather blatant lack of proper education on such matters to young people. Abstinence only programs and a refusal on the parents part to communicate lead to more girls making bad choices because they just don't have the information they desperately need. Texas, a state famous for it's Abstinence only programs has the highest rate of *repeat* teen pregnancies.

I now have a boyfriend, great grades, and is in counseling and I'm learning to be free in God's way! Amen
