Thanks JCM! Sonata 1 Gminor is played by violinists VERY FAST! That was about as fast as I could manage back then. I agree with you, I like the uke for it's mellow soulful tone. The Bach Partitas/Sonatas sound great on the uke!
Can I ask a qu that I don't know the answer to? Are they supposed to be played this fast?
I' been learning a few Bach & other classical pieces on uke & they sound much more "soulfull" when played slower and the notes allowed to ring which helps create a tension which is resolved later in the pieces by the genius of the writing. But I don't know, were they actually intended to be played fast?

Is the 5th tuner in the middle of the headstock? Did you put it there yourself?
