every member is important, but without Buckingham, McVie, Fleetwood, Nicks, you might be a bit disappointed since the vocals are essential for a band like FM. Sounds good, but not quite good enough

In 1987 he left fleetwood mac because he did not want to go on another big tour. So Stevie and Lindsey got in a fight and he left. So they replaced him with two other dudes. Lindsey returned to the band in 1997 and then Christine McVie retired.

@AngelEyez32195 Lindsey did join up with fleetwood mac in 92 for clintons campaign song but I dont think he totally rejoined til the dance tour in 97. Also the two dudes are Billy Burnette and Rick Vito. Vito is actually playing with mick fleetwood in micks new blues band which he formed as a side project from the mac!
