All I know for sure is that 2012 will be Assassin's Creed 3 because it is suppose to coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar. Remember in the first one (if you read the emails), the Templars are launching a satellite of some sort on that day. I don't know what their plan is for the game, but I'm pretty sure

@PawneeStud My guess would be the last of Ezio and Altair after Revelations. Perhaps a brand new Assassin with a new Story arc. I feel that Ubisoft are going to keep on producing sequels for Assassin's Creed on a yearly basis now. They have a massive studio, so it's not like they are unable to manage it though. But there has been an Assassin's Creed every year since 2009, I would bank on another in November 2012, what people might call the 'real' Assassin's Creed 3 with a new Assassin :)
