If I loaded VB then the guest Linux, I can see my Windows network and workgroup, but I can't connect to that or any folder that I map as a share. This is driving me nuts. Can you help ? Please

  • hi, i'm running vbox on a separate drive. is the mapping the same ?

  • Hey, i need your help, im doing exactly what you said and it says c"windows cannot access \\vboxsvr\share": what should i do, im trying to share a file fom my normal computer to a virtual machine. urgent.

  • @HyyRisque easy way to do it, once u share the folder, log on to ur virtual machine e.g guest , for example mine is windows 7 is the guest and linux is the host,

so i log on to vmachine (windows 7) go to network and ur share will b there just create a shortcut

  • Thank you very, very much. I been looking for a solution for the last hour, an have managed it so quickly with your version. PEOPLE, this works with WINDOWS XP.

Just go to Tools > Map Network Drive, and after you've followed these instructions you'll see it as another drive in My Computer.

    Thank you !!!
