no, there is some depth to chuck and blair's relationship. its not just about sex but they have some real heart to heart moments. but i do agree with you that many shows involve rich teens having sex and cheating on each other. but i think what drives people in is the scandal

It's just easy entertainment with relatively simple plot to ease up people's stress after a day's work. And cater to the general's public fantasy, money&sex. It's loved because it doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand but not too boring. Does that answer ur question?
@orangejuicerox There is more to gossip girl than just entertainment... on the outside looking in it looks really shallow and stupid but if u actually watch the show its about how their parents poor decisions have affected the lives of these young adults. Sure the kids are filthy rich and spoiled but it shows you that there is more to people than just their outward appearance. Plus it shows what real love is because blair and chuck really love eachother.
This clips and songs just work perfectly. I cried at the end of the last episode where he goes to the airport because I loved Chuck so much and I am scared that Chuck and Blair are never going to be, and I can't stand to think that.
You know whats funny? I hated Chuck in the books and in the show I just love him! YAY! lol.
