omg i got a new pc a gaming one and i was so exsited to play this game and i did and guess what I finished it in a few hours and i'm now standing here wondering why is the game 2x4.37Gb and why is it so short and what was in that fucking box that i chased in every level and can anyone tell me if the first game was longer and is it better than this ?? don't get me wrong its a great game i just wish it was longer it ended so fast :(

My PC shuts down after psycho blows the bridge if i have enthusiast or gamer settings, but on mainstream and minimum it doesn´t happen.

It´s not the game that crash, it´s really the pc that SHUTS DOWN.

Anyone have any idea why that happens?

Not enough RAM. You need a minimum of 2 gig on winxp and 3 gig on Vista.

Well, then what is your power supply? I think you need about 600W for that particular gpu, especially if you have a lot of stuff attached to your pc like a printer/scanner, joystick, gamepad, etc. Also, what cpu do you have? Although, highly unlikely sometimes if your computer gets too hot then the ram gets screwed up. Also, make sure no other program is running like antivirus or antispy programs.

In the box of the card says 465W, my suplly is 480W.

I have scanner and printer but it is turned off, processor is dual core 2.8 GHz.

I already excluded the overheat option since it can happen even if i just start the game and the first thing i do is putting this video playing.

It can´t go hot in less then 5 minutes.

I used to own a radeon 1950(recommended 300W on box) and I used 500W power supply. One time I was playing FEAR on high resolution at max settings and it caused my computer to crash intermittently. I then upgraded to 600W and haven't had any problems since then. I'm now using a radeon 3870 with no problems. When your pc shuts down do you get the blue screen that tells you that something went wrong or does it completely turn off, because it sounds a lot like the power supply.

I recommend you go out and buy a 600 or 700 W power supply and try it out. Save the receipt so if it doesn't work you can just return it. Also make sure to upgrade the nvidia drivers.

No , there is no blue screens, or anything like that, it just shuts down.

Well i´m not gonna buy another one so soon, i still have the old one, it is just a few mounths ago since i made the last upgrade on the PC.

If it just shuts down then it is definitely the power supply. There's no other explanation for it. Had it been faulty device such as ram, cpu, motherboard, hard drive, etc you'd get a blue screen.

Actually, instant shut downs with no warnings can be caused by RAM malfunctions. Try running a memtest - google it. I find it highly unlikely that a 500W PSU can't handle an 8800GTX and a dual core. I'm running Quad core, 9800GTX and 4gb ram, overclocked, with 630W low brand PSU - no problems. Get your RAM checked, secondly the CPU - if there are no problems with either, then I'll agree it's the PSU :P

get more power dewd. my pc had a 550w power supply that this game and my video card seriously ate up and now i run with a 650 watt power supply that destroys everything i throw at it.

Game files are miss nothing more . same problem with me when i played mademan and ultimate spiderman but changing with new dvd problem solved . Cant say exactly that same problem is with u or not . try new patch . i run this game with 1 gb ram in very high settings . no problem at all .

just files are miss due to this reason it restarts . Cpu r different so if u will run it on ur friend house . i think it will not restart because some pc run even files r miss .

Same problem with me in other 2 old games in which pc restarts but by getting new dvd problem was solved . but i cant say exactly that same problem is with u or not other wise i have only 1 gb ram and i play it in very high graphics reducing textures and physics to med and all other to very high so this is not a ram problem i think .

I didn't like it. The FPS cutscenes were almost a perfect answer for Valves problem when trying to tell the story in the Half Life series. We maybe able to hear Freeman talk one day while still been told through his eyes.

Hey wasn't this train featured in Crysis when you're flying the VTOL. There's a specific side objective requiring you to assist "important" cargo. Unless if Nomad wiped out the enemy just before the train actually came to a stop.
