Is there a filmed copy of the play??

I live in contry where most people, sadly, have never heard of Lestat and Vampire Chronicles, I found it this year by accident and loved it, so I didn't have the honor to see the play :'(

i agree--i think many fans who indentified with her early views on religion as expressed by lestat in the 1st two books felt betrayed by the new direction she took--i am in that boat.

No doubt about it... I'm extremely disappointed with the last book, and refuse to believe that that was the last time we would read about our favorite vampires!

Oh... That reminds me how disappointed I am with Anne Rice! :( I used to love the Vampire Chronicles (well and still do) till she destroys the work of a lifetime with the last book and that stupid review at amazondotcom. And now she's writing boring books... I'm happy Elton John had this idea and Hugh is Lestat. MUCH better than Cruise or Stuart Townsend :P He is intense and great for the part.
