  • lol thats like a weird condom for the mighty mouse it looks weird

  • thanks

  • where did you get your case on the front of the laptop????????????

  • MissTrenchcoat, I just thought u should know that the new incase hard shell is now avail for the 13 inch Macbook pro. It looks the same as the Speck hardshell case. With the exception of different colors.

  • Thanks for letting me know! I will be sure to check it out!

  • Can you do a review on the red one?

  • can you leave the keyboard cover on the macbook and close the screen?

  • Yes, I'd like to know to. Also, can you still have the keyboard light up?

  • On the model I have, yes, you can still see the keyboard lights below the ProTouch.

  • Ok thanks. I was just at the apple store and wanted to test out the download speed. I tried QuickTime and it was going up to 4.5mb/s. How much do you usually get?

  • I am not sure the average download speed I get... I never really noticed because everything downloads so fast!

  • Ok. Can you test it please? Also I'd like to talk with you if you're still online.

  • Download speeds are HIGHLY dependent on your internet connection- more so than your computer. I will try to give that a test later, but keep in mind that the exact same computer can get different results based on your connection method (dial up, dsl, cable, T1 ect) and the number of users sharing your bandwidth. TV and then bed for me, but feel free to send me a message if you have a specific question you don't want to ask here.

  • Ok, so my download speeds from my old dell laptop and my new macbook pro won't vary much? Oh ok.

  • dude, that's not what she means. She is saying that if you have the SAME computer as her, your download speed will slightly differ based on your internet connection. Your download speeds on a new mac will of course differ from your old dell but using her benchmarks to gauge your own wouldn't be accurate.

  • Ok thanks so much. I don't think my Dell ever got to 1mb/s or even close. Wow it was great to see the base mbp could get close to 5mb/s.

  • You most certainly can. It doesn't affect the screen opening or closing!
