Hey man, what's cool about your video is that you're playing w/out the backing track, so its all you! And you did an excellent job with this solo! Nice! Lots of guys play with the backing track too loud and you can't even tell if its them or the "real song"-not with this one!

@icitnow Y'know I keep saying I wanna re-do this one with the backing track, but maybe I'll do it with a track I do myself rather than the original recording. I think this was one of the first videos I ever did when I first got a webcam and I was so psyched I just plugged in and went for it. Thanks dude!

@fiveortenbren I think its cool when someone does (or can do) their own backing track. And I think that it's great that you could recognize the whole solo from beginning to end without the backing track-orig or not. A few people do it w/out a b-track and you can't what in the hell is going on.

I have been thinking of doing that myself but I'm not that great. Great stuff!

Thanks Roccog, and everybody else. That piece before is actually the chorus riff but it's hard to tell what it is unless there's vocals over it. good job, the official album version of the solo and rest of the song is on judas priest . com, one of the only tabs there with the full solo. Glenn does change it though, but the tab on their website would make it much easier for you.

That's a 1983 black Gibson flying V; playing it through a CrateVTX30 which is my portable amp I use for teaching and practicing. For gigging I use a 50 watt Marshall JCM800 1/2 stack.
