I think many younger watchers aren't getting this, maybe being macho or cool to mock it. When you're 50, watch it again. If you haven't had adventures, made mistakes, or done things so awesome that they were impossible to repeat you still wont be able to connect with the song - and/or the rather playful video, (licking included). Replacing the "geezer" with a young guy won't work, - there just aren't enough regrets, or epitomes regarding oneself. Growing up is not a reward for being a good kid.

So Yeasayer is a good band and I really enjoy their new album but then I saw a couple videos of this song live and it was undeniably god awful...to the point they had no idea what the fuck they were doing as musicians trying to play a live song.
