@KongYack This was a no-decision decision. I would have blamed him for not going after him regardless of the ramifications of our relationship with Pakistan. Indeed, I blame him more for funneling billions of dollars in aid to a government that has demonstrably acted against US and international interests in aiding and abetting terrorists. In no way am I having it two ways--the characterization that this was a difficult decision on his part is disingenous AT BEST.
At the end of the day, feel free to continuing to attribute whatever accomplishments you can to this President. He failed on his promises for a less partisan approach from the start and has continued to fail in his attempts at the betterment of the US because of it. He has no original thoughts beyond what is fed him from others and he and his administration are incapable of actually improving our economic situation.
Fundamentally you need to recognize that governments do not create jobs (beyond the standing military and meeting general infrastructure needs--run across any shovel-ready projects yet???)--it is an administrator of programs. Those programs are paid for by taxes from whom? By the private sector that Obama and this administration are so desparate to regulate and are now essentially refusing to hire because of the regulatory uncertainty he's caused.

President Obama has certainly gotten a lot done during his first two years in office, and succeeded in twisting the arms of Congress(wo)men. Unfortunately, I have been unemployed for 13 months now, and the ARRA (a.k.a. Stimulus) has not helped me find work. Obama's been successful, but I'm hesitant to call it progress.

The Stimulus created higher unemployment for a much longer period and wasted billions of tax dollars on bogus projects. Much of the dollars are unaccounted for. The HC bill does NOTHING to lower HC cost and is driving cost up it also is unconstitutional mandating every citizen to buy a private product. It will cost us over $2.5 trillion.

When you look at the body of work like this in a 4 minute video it almost brings a tear to your eye. Granted I don't agree with how the sausage making process played out in some key policies(they were watered down for the sake of passing with no attempt at selling the public on the better ideas) and the compromises, deal making and substance of some bills can be questioned. @quizerry Oh yes, they are massive spendings, but I don't see why they're spent like drunken. Jobs and the economy are recovering etc.. Economists have also said the unemployment could've been more without these. Imagine if the economy gets drunk to the point that many out there on the street lose faith in capitalism, and by then the politicians, even the GOP guys, will want to spend even bigger than this, IF they still have the money to pay for it.

He passed a healthcare bill for a crappy reformed NHS, especially crappy when compared to countries like England & Finland. He ended Operation Iraqi Freedom, & then sent tens of thousands of more troops to Afghanistan, so our troops are still in the middle east. The economy is still crap, jobs are scarce, Obama has been one big failure. Prove me wrong.

Had the Democrats supported and acknowledged their accomplishments instead of running from them, they would still have control of the House. However, because of their divisiveness many of them loss their congressional seats. The party of NO! When you look at the body of work like this in a 4 minute video it almost brings a tear to your eye. Granted I don't agree with how the sausage making process played out in some key policies(they were watered down for the sake of passing with no attempt at selling the public on the better ideas) and the compromises, deal making and substance of some bills can be questioned. He did get a lot of shit done considering the block of republican opposition, obstructionism and down right meanness.

Premiums are higher then if nothing had been done. The finance bill cost all of us in higher interest on CC and new loan charges. There are new regulations that will cost all of us for years to come. We have higher taxes on liquor, tobacco, electric, fuel, phone, medical supplies and many higher state taxes.
