  • If someone tells me tha RW has 8 fingers on each hand I would not argue at all. Serious! Perfect!!!!

  • Awesome

  • yes yes love it !!!!

  • I could watch this all day

  • Search Youtube for Jane Seymour Prelude and see him in real action. On a HUGE pipe organ. What a HUGE talent.

  • If I could only play the piano like Rick! Frigging Awesome!

  • Closes his eyes and paints a picture with his playing...just like his Mum told him to do.

  • Mini Moog...His favorite toy...Awesome

  • this man isnt real, hes a myth :)

  • This song is called Jane Seymour and it's from the Six Wives album !

  • Yikes

  • He looks like Darth Sidious in a couple of shots

  • "Sin palabras, y hay quien duda que Wakeman es el mejor tecladista de rock de todos los tiempos. "

Without words, and some people doubt that Wakeman is the best rock keyboard player of all time.

  • master of keyboards this man for shure amazing:))

  • @ballademaker S-U-R-E

  • Master of keyoards awsome:))

  • i like everything but his jacket

  • This is interesting... I once saw an interview with Geoffrey Downes, and he cited Rick Wakeman as one of HIS influences!

  • i love how he is one the most capable keyboard players of all time, but he does not over crowd his songs with notes when he with yes

  • Rick is too awesome, too great. Sometimes I wonder how many hands he has playing the KB? The master!

  • :O

    no mustache, No rick wakeman

    xD

    hahahah

    awesome

    :D

  • The Master !!

  • incredibile!!!

  • I love the bit when he brings the Moog in. I've recently broke from keyboard lessons of 7 years, however I'm going to start classical piano lessons in September and hopefully increase my skills. Rick Wakeman is my greatest keyboard inspiration.

  • This guy is a living legend of the keyboards!.I totally and absolutelly lovre him!

  • Why are negative comments getting flagged. They aren't spam just because they point out flaws, though I see no flaws with Wakeman or any of his music.

  • I was recently going through my favourite keyboard artist's and came across Rick Wakeman.....wearing Jean Michel Jarre's 1997 concert in Moscow Jacket.....Still love there music ...think there the masters.....and thought i was imagining this useless bit of info...well it is sunday...

  • OMG!!! this man is the reason I've always wanted to play keys...since the first time I saw him 30 plus yrs. ago...and why, at the ripe old age of 56 I started piano lessons last year. While I'll obviously NEVER play like him ( who could)!!) I absolutely LOVE it. I also love the blip at 3:42..makes me feel good. As my piano teacher reminds me every week...even the masters miss a note every once in awhile..

  • Rick Wakeman-The Great Master!!!

  • Completely Agree!!! Thank you for sharing

  • He is the MASTER of all pianos!

  • Yeah, that mistake was really huge at 3:42! LOL I sure wish I could play a whole solo like this and "ONLY" miss that one little note. That's not even worth pointing out.

  • No kidding. Dissonance really scares some people.

  • You're right, it DEFINITELY is not worth mentioning.

And RayQuadrineros, in case you haven't noticed, it's a concert. And quite often performers have a few drinks (if only) before. And we don't know how long the guy had already played, and how tired could've been...

So, I hope you know where to stick your 'harsh critisism'. I bet you're more forgiving to The Who...

  • which is the name of this song?? incredible!! this man is a genius.

  • Jane Seymour is the name

  • gracias amigo!!

  • majestuoso, único!

  • The Master!

  • shubus, I agree what your saying about YOUR playing but what do you think about Ricks playing.....

  • AGREED !!!!!!

  • @rotory2002 you're

  • does any body knows where I can get or buy the scores of this piece? I would like to give a try with my Korg.

  • absolute dog shit. wakeman and emerson are far better.

  • why is he not in yes anymore

  • His doctor has told him "no more touring". Rick did a short 2-week stint, I think in New York, and it really took it's toll on him. Unfortunately, our Rock Gods and Heroes aren't exactly "spring chickens" anymore. Rick is/was, however, performing "Six Wives" at henry's castle in England. 2 shows, I believe. Check out his website, "Rick Wakeman Communication Centre". Peace:-)

  • I've heard the same thing. He's done some local things in England since he left Yes, but nothing on the scale of Yes tours. Out of curiosity, for those of you who have seen them this year/last year, how does Oliver stack up? I was twice thwarted in my attempts to see Yes last year (Los Angeles on the first tour with Jon, and Phoenix with Benoit) so I haven't been able to see them out this stretched. Fingers crossed that this leg goes smoothly.

  • long story

  • Jane Seymour ftw!

  • Damm he was good !!!
