I think what happens, is people load up a server that is in a totally different continent.

Like people in Australia trying to play on North American servers for BF3 and WoW and whatever else you like.

Play in your own region and you will enjoy it a lot more. Also, stop playing on satellite internet (500ms+ Latency) kthx.

when you "ping" google, you send ping to google server, and receive the ping from google server (same as online games), try to ping the online game server (or at least, it's website) to really check the ping, not google...
