I will never understand how people can hate the police, running from one place to another, it never seems enough. But I run anyway. Trying to do good. And then tonight a young customer of mine prayed as I held him. Prayed to god out loud to strike me down and take my family with me. I work in a large city and most people are not happy to see me. Tonight there was only one and for her I will continue.
