Those events only occured due to the distortion of SR2's ending, and the final repercussions of Defiance. Janos Ordron was possesed by the Hilden lord at the end of DEFIANCE, and then he was released in order to power the device in BO2, as to what happens to him at the end of BO2 after falling into the portal, that is most likely his end until the time manipulation of SR 1&2. At the end of Defiance, the Elder god slain, that likey diverts all time lines back to that point, erasing all past event

Kain's memory is 'changed', not just forgotten, in BO2 due to the temporal distortions caused by the actions of Kain and Raziel in SR2. At the end of the game, where Kain saves Raziel from being absorbed by the Reaver. If you notice, the creators were very careful throughout the series to stick to a direct, realistic, and fluid plotline (based on the dark decision in the original BO). So on, the events between BO and SR were direct, in which Kani spent learning and evolving, not BO2

Yes he does get a sip of kains soul and gets that ability

He strikes Ariel down and absorbs her soul making a yellow reaver as thats the only reaver that can kill kain

Killing kain then gives him a blood red reaver... after that he goes back to the cathedral and turns on the sound organs which was a vampire extermination weapon freeing Nosgoth of all vampires

Due to issues of legal reasons, money and time the game got cut short and story changed

But, in Defiance, Raziel learns about the Hylden, and discovers that the Elder God has been working with them all along. They were taking advantage of Raziel, and trying to use him as a vessel for their return.

Id love a directors cut of SR1, where they didnt cut the ending to allow SR2... aka you go to turel then kill ariel then kill kain and then go back to zephons cathedral and activate the end screen killing the world of vampires with its super weapon

I thought that the original game was going to end with Raziel having killed all his brethren and absorbing half of Kain's soul allowing him to pass to and from the spectral realm without a portal? I never heard anything about what you mentioned. I knew there were other reavers, like the one you would have gotten by killing ariel, but I never heard about the cathedral thing.

Yeah, a bit of a pain that the game was cut, but the developers obviously had their reasons for this. I was also a bit annoyed when I never met Turel in the first game, but hey, it made meeting him in Defiance all the sweeter. Yes, for those who have not played Defiance yet, Turel is in it!

I remember spending a long time looking up there and wondering how you were supposed to get up before I found out how much stuff had been taken out. The same goes for that wall in the Human Citidel which is at the end of all the stairs, and was meant to be a window. It definitely felt like a let down.

Well it would sure made the game longer and better, but the plot would have ended not very good for Kain though...A Director´s Cut version of SR would be nice :D

Swimming is easy - just get the trainer made by Vampmaster. Flying is a bit thougher to do because it won´t work on fast pc.
