Just because one is Catholic does not mean they are required to force their views upon others. The duty of a U.S. Representative is to create a system of laws that does not force religious beliefs on others. For example, the Ukrainian Church ordains married men to the priesthood, does not believe in purgatory or indulgences, and views Mary merely as the means by which Christ came into the world.

Just because one is Catholic does not mean they are required to force their views upon others. The duty of a U.S. Representative is to create a system of laws that does not force religious beliefs on others. Nancy Pelosi is nothing special as a representative, but at least she leaves it up to the person affected whether they feel they are capable or not of bringing a new life into the world.
