not really, it stays pretty clean and shiny. your hand doesn't really touch much of the stainless steel.

no mine does not, make sure you are filling the gas straight up. also the cold weather may be causing the gas to compress, or a leak. the guys at airsoft arms should be able to solve the problem if it is not one of those.

green gas and my mad bull propane adapter are both long enough to fill the mag. Hope that's what you're talking about

nice.thanks, i saw the vid and decided i would go with the novak just because of the feel and blowback feel, and because of its full metal body. i know we isnt the best brand on the market, espically compared to the kwa. I know you replied to somone earlier bout it, but i persoannly wanted to know.

Would you perfer this or a kwa 1911.

the kwa is more reliable, but i really don't like the feel of the grip. also the kwa will mostly have a lot of paint on the nose of the gun(not just the tip of the barrel) i personally think it ruins the entire ascetics of the gun. so you're call man

i've thought about the tokyo marui's before, but they all have plastic slide, and cost about 100 plus more to get a metal slide, which is too much a fortune to me

i just wanted to know if it felt like a toy, and does it feel like metal, because you know a plastic gun sounds so bleh...

well the dual stainless i have is export only from japan, which means it can have more than one joule of force(japanese law). so it can use green gas. the weight of the marui is pretty heavy and the slide feels really good for being plastic. there isn't as much kick as the novak, but I think it is louder. I have another video on the marui you can check out.

I recently picked up the marui capa 4.3 dual stainless, and I prefer it over this gun. the novak is all metal which feels and looks amazing, but I have had some seal issues. It is really your call on whether you want an all metal gun or not. the marui is more reliable.

i know a way you can get a better seal on your WE 1911 magazines. to where you get close to 50 shots out of a gas fill. all it requires is a rubber band and a screwdriver.

what does Novak mean? i know meu and mar (soc) but what about Novak? please respond.

I'm pretty sure that novak was a producer of a colt 1911, or maybe they designed the sights. not sure, sorry about that.

i do like the Novak design better than the meu or mar. more of a classical look integrated with the modern 1911 features.

does the kwa pack a stronger kick?

ive heard the kwa is almost comparible to a .22 short which is incredible, and is also loud.

how is the kick and loudness on the novak?

I've never shot a .22 hand gun, but it has a decent kick(not close to 9mm though). The volume of the blowback is pretty loud, comparable to the kwa.

It depends on what you want. socom gear is the high class version of WE. KWA has been in the business for longer. The slide on the novak has a little rattle, where the kwa has none. I think the novak has alot better feel and kick. Also, the KWA is going to have a big spray painted tip if you get it in the US. your call, They both have about the same fps.

I got the black version, they are beast! But, you wouldn't happen to know if I could buy an MEU lower frame and swap them out would you? The MEU fits my hand better and I personally think it looks cooler.

Bro...I'm stoked to get that same gun and was souped to see a review here on YouTube. One caveat though...your a cool looking dude, but out of a 3:24 video I think we get about 30 seconds worth of glancing views of the gun. Lets see the GUN in all its two-tone goodness!
