Are you just driving around looking for dogs? or going on google maps and looking from above? I was trying to find some spots up in wy, might of found a few along west i80
Hey thanks! Yeah I've done a lot of shooting, some days I go through 500 shells on some of the bigger towns! I love the .22 for prairie dogs, I'm not into blowing them up, it's more of a challenge, plus they're not as loud and the dogs stay above ground a lot longer. Still more videos to come, I still have quite a bit of footage to edit and there are tons of em around here so stay tuned!
Love it! Been wanting to go on a prairie dog shooting for many, many years. Even more I wanted to use a rimfire since there would likely be a LOT of shooting. I'm subscribing, and hoping to see more and more videos like this in the future!
dog # 2 is the most unlucky animal in the world a good 2 feet low and richocets and hits him dead center

Have you tried a .17 hmr yet? They are pretty quiet and better range. Nice shooting.

Yeah, so was the last one. It's amazing that there was still enough energy for the bullet to go through them at that distance.

I do both, drive around and look at google earth. I also have permission from a few land owners.
