I get why he's playing so quickly and I quite like it. Sure, I can understand why some classical fans aren't going to like this but I personally really enjoy this version and appreciate the musicianship.

Gee I have enjoyed Daniel Hope on the radio but cant believe he mucks about with making some notes dotted .. I cannot recall any musician playing fast and loose with a composer in that way .... in my view a very dangerous trend Also anticipating notes and slithering about ..... and so much inappropriate joie de vivre! Someone I had admired has fallen right down in my estimation I prefer to hear this music sung, especially by Peter Schreier
