Of course he had genetic advantages and effective training. But without the drugs he and all the others would have posted numbers that were a fraction of what they did with the drugs. The logic that he would be dead by now if he did a bunch of steroids is seriously flawed. There are thousands of "athletes" worldwide who did steroids for years and are still alive today. Of course some died..many had health problem...the governor of California's heart surgery comes to mind.
