  • sweet COBRA :)) gravid! that snake looks like a stuffed sausage haha

  • COBRA :))

  • awesome animals.

  • Is this King Cobra a male or a female?

  • @dragonpullman23 Don't remaember

  • Did you EVER get bit by something venomous? Just wondering.

  • nice 'King Cobra Cam', I like the sound of the tongue hitting the camera.

Nice video's you have, thanks for sharing!

  • That cobra is one beautiful creature. So stately and regal.

  • Mr. PitViper is very beautiful id hate to be on the short end of that stick when hes in a pissy mood

  • My heart actualli stopped when he stuck his tongue out :L

  • VK check out 13:30 on your vid.. See how she just "relaxes" ...

  • Did you have a hard time getting your king feeding on mice? How was that transition? I had a big problem getting my Aspidelaps away from wanting to eat other snakes.

  • oscar the grouch reincarnated as a snake lol,

  • that malayan pit viper looks like such a grouch lol

  • @SailorSexyDork You nailed that one.

  • One question. Would it be safe to get a snake (not not, but later on) and remove the poison sack? I know it would not eliminate the danger of being bitten, but would it remove the threat of poisoning?

  • was he smelling the camra

  • I always lose track of time watching your videos. It is truly amazing to see such a variety of species. Thank you for sharing your time with us.

  • Back in the day when in science class, it was thought that pit vipers only existed in the Americas. Amazing that they exist elswhere like in Asia. Thanks for the educational videos!!

  • I'm amazed ur up on that cobra's face & it hasn't killed u, just sticks its tongue out like ur an edible snack

  • You're a top host viperkeeper. I've turned my brother in law and a few of my mates onto your channel. They sit and watch the whole of the video through.

  • @leonardoboy2 Thanks mate

  • Lol, aww... I just want to cuddle that cobra... it may be venomous, but dang, what a beauty.

  • That Malayan Pit Viper has a mean disposition and cruel eyes. He looks like he wants nothing more than to bite.

  • Lord bless you buddy. You are doing a job I wouldn't want to do. I wish you continued safety for you and your reptile friends.

  • How I wish I could have a King Cobra for a pet. I've kept many different North American venomous sakes, but no Old World species. The toughest one I've had, was a C. Atrox. Very crappy attitude, and could not be handled or touched in any way.

  • Cool vids. Have any snakes ever escaped?

  • the viper at 03:19 is the venoumes version of a ball python

    lol

your the man i really respect you for wath you do and me myself i have just lizards because i don´t wanna feed mice but you have a great hobby

  • I love your videos. That's because you are a great camera man.

  • I love the november comment ...right on

  • That SKull Pattern at minute 6:12 is SO SICK!! LOVE IT......what a badass SNAKE.

  • Hi there i love the video with the king i keep a coral cobra myself and i can handle her with bare hands along as im not feeding she is very tame as i brought her up since she hatch witch i also helped with but i love the way he sits and watchs him self really really stunning king you have

  • i am not a snake collector or anything but your videos are so interesting. great job

  • y does the cobra have to look so cute:D

  • how long have you had the snake and is it a young

  • Your snakes are beautiful. I personally always favor cobras and at 2:30 his hood was beautiful. Absolutely stunning snakes.

  • THE COBRA IS STARING INTO YOUR SOUL

  • I like the malayan pit viper. That thing is so badass.

  • also that Malayan viper reminds me of Randy Orton.

  • great snake vids. but that close up of that cobra, srry 2 say but u sir r insane.

  • Nice try. Take a closer look at the eyes

  • where did u get that malayan?

  • that King Cobra is one cool calculating customer.it is said this species of snake is highly intelligent.

  • Al, can the snakes actually hear your voice, or do they feel vibration? Also I would like to know if they can see like we do? I saw a television show and I think they said snakes see in infrared! Also I was watching Humannatural people Sunday night, and a guy injected himself with 40mg of black mamba venom with no reaction, did you see it, and do you believe it could happen? Thanks for your time, and please keep up the good work!

  • I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos!

  • Awesome information about the Malayan. Yep, sometimes when you get one you'll be surprised to see it leap strike so hard that 70-80% of it's body is off the ground - and, the entire body moves forward with the strike. Bizarre, and not a snake I like to keep long. Eats mice, rats, hamsters very well. The pattern on that Malayan is so intense Al - awesome, light brown... I just found a guy with a baby King Cobra - on my way there tomorrow. 1.5m. Quite excited... Cheers Al.

  • king cobras will preffer to eat reptiles more than mammels when offered. sometimes they will only eat a certain species of lizard or snake.

  • Your gonna get bit one day..putting the camera less than an inch in the face of a cobra doesn't make sense to me..but what do i know

  • @Deansterdpc You know very very little by the looks of your UTube page.

  • @Deansterdpc there's something called "zooming in". you truly know nothing about cameras.

  • @thedestroyer62498 hey douche bag, who cares. u probably dont have a fourth the snakes he does

  • @Deansterdpc - The camera is on a tripod, putting a hand that close would be silly, venomous keeps are not silly.

  • @thebiofish Not on a Tripod.

  • @Deansterdpc wear a motorglove while filming and ur can even touch his nose. NOT SAYING THIS IS SMART! but i bet he was wearing gloves. he knows what he is doing cuz if he didnt he wouldnt keep cobras.

  • U HAVE THE BEST VIDS ON YOUTUBE

  • At 6:12 , it looks sort of like the (very, VERY beautiful) malayan pit viper's pattern is somewhat reminiscent of a skull pattern. Or is it just me? XD

  • @hitheresunshine Yes, that's exactly what it is...nice call

  • where do you get serum?

  • @paintballkicksass You obtain the permits from the FDA & order it from the manufacting company

  • @viperkeeper do you think hospitals in the DC area will have serums?

  • @paintballkicksass I know exactly what is kept at national Zoo and other places in the area.

  • omg that cobra is soo cute !!!

  • i wonder how long it took you to not be shocked by the strikes of the snakes?

  • I'm not really a snake person but the King Cobra is actually kind of cute up close! :-)

  • Ive been living in outside country many years in Thailand, never seen this fat snake outside...? Mostly I encounter with monocle cobras... Do they exist in Thailand also? Never seen these fat snakes :S They seems to be very slow :S

  • The first two snakes on this video are found in Thailand. The death adders are found in Papua.

  • the cobra's so cute

  • Your snakes are gorgeous, and the cobra's are beautiful, keep up the good work!!!

  • They can be trained to est rodents

  • when you say you dont have serum do u keep it at your place or were would u have the serum at?

  • The A/V Bank or other institutions

  • LOL love reference to the brain dead elections... From Malaysia; Nice to see some of our Malaysian beauties are given royal treatment overseas. Its a sham the widely under-appreciated by most of us locals...f with the of exception mua and the like. Venom research is still relatively nil despite the death toll. I wonder I wonder if you could advise me on how to do something about that to a justifiable effect....

  • I love your videos dude.

Its funny when you put the king cobras face up at the cam and start talking to him.

    5*

  • u should show some mating videos...............and egg laying videos tooo.

  • malayans are the GREATEST!!!!!

  • did the one with the back problem make it? if it did could you show us the snake today? Thank You

  • He's fine

  • Hi Viperkeeper. I really enjoy your videos. You do a very good job showing people that Vipers and snakes are not so bad if handled in the right ways. Very Educational. You have probably had this question asked before, however I am going to ask. Have you ever been bitten by any of your snakes. Thank you very much! LOVE YOUR GABOON VIPER by the way!

    Vince.

  • Watch my FAQ video....

  • thanks al, i dont know if im going to keep any of the babies a friend wants one and a few of the eggs look like they wont be any good. i think i will just sell off all of them im sure you have more then you need too but if you need any more let me know lol.. if i have any trouble can i message you? i was told to start them on tree frogs

  • I don't bother with feeding frogs, but do use frog scenting sometimes. They could care less from the two clutches of babies I've raised recently.

  • the king is aswsome. very nice looking C. rhodostoma. mine just laid 17 eggs a few days ago

  • Very cool..but wait till they hatch...no fun to get feeding...let me know if you want to swap some for mine..to keep unrelated blood lines

  • Good damm, that king is beautiful.

  • OOOO!!!! Malayan pit vipers are one of my fav's.

    AWESOME vid! 5/5

  • but you need iron ball to have the venomus snake lol and u have them lol i only have two lizards but when i get a job im going to buy constrictors

  • dude ur fucking nuts lol why would u keep venomus snakes??

  • no a/v good to know :) lol , how are the baby coppers?

  • Doing great...all 3 ate for me again last night.

  • That king cobra was amazing

    Wow.

  • haha close up please.

  • very nice cobra !!!!! \o/

  • i think people like snakes, but not so sure snakes like people lol

  • The snakes understand. The more people I meet the more I like venomous snakes.

  • lol wish i could say he same but..........i only have garters.

  • hahaha. beautiful snakes as usual, and good politics.

  • big suprise as to why repitiles are disapearing! I use to have a bunch of iguanas and turtles before i realized i was a moron for keepin em!

  • You're a bigger mornon than you think. Habitat distruction and people eith hate then or eat them or both.

  • Hey Al, u got a pistol under your tshirt at 15:40???

  • No, I'm just glad to see you all ;-)

  • He probably has his concealed license.

  • I'm on my property, I don't need a permit to carry anything

  • O, sorry bout that.

  • thnkz :)

anyway i forgot to say awesome video 5* lyk all ways

  • "I see ya Pooped" haha thats funny shit...I hate when my rattler shits...

  • its nice to see one up close like that thanks you have a beautiful creature x

  • Wat camera do u usee??

  • Sony DCH-96

  • it is amzing the way your king cobra likes you

  • You think the king cobra likes him? Have you seen how many times it wanted to bite him?

  • the king cobra din't try to bite him

  • mangroves have very toxic venom but poor dilivery as their rear fanged they have to really get on you an most likly chew a bit if that were to happin chances are you will need some antivenem you can find articals from dr fry explaining just how potant the venom is i wouldnt chance getting bit :)

  • There is no A/V for this species.

  • would love to stroke your long cobra ;-*

  • Bet you say that to all the boys ;-)

  • nice vid i love the death adder. do you think you could do a overview of all the hooks, tongs and herp handaling equipment it would be nice to know what the experts use

  • Yes

  • That is one of the nicest Calloselasma sp. I have ever seen. Definitely a stunner.

  • why did you put the babies on this one when you already had them on another video...when you were 'endorsing' the snake excersizing towel

  • sorry to hear that, but ya gotta do what u gotta do

  • hey viperkeeper are you going to be at the hamburg show in october???

  • No, I have another commitment.

  • I would NOT fancy the job of milking the MPV all day!!! Hats off to those who do it.

  • i was wondering ,is a mangrove snake bite worthy on anti venom ,or would it be possible to just kinda brush it off with some pain

  • Mangrove Snakes (Boiga Dendrophila i'm assuming you mean) are not particularly dangerous. i have been bitten, and really all that happened was my hand swelled up, i got quite nauseous, and my hand got quite sore. i'm not sure if it's related, but my hand now goes asleep more easily.

  • It can get much worse than you experienced

  • Great video al! Loving the evil laugh at the start. lol

  • that funny how the cobra was curious

  • Captive bred death adders!

    Absolute great job Al.

But I guess we need to discuss politics sometime `cos it sounded to me like you wanted another republican after 8 years of the most brain death president I have ever seen in the world politics.

Of course speaking from Switzerland is quite easy ;).

    Yasin

  • They are quite simple, throw both parties out and adhere to the US Constitution, no more, no less. Yes, Bush was a moron.

  • Unfortunately you are ruled by stupid 2 party system and you are forced to pick the lesser evil. But the thought of Sarah Palin as wise president is just as funny as changing the constitution and re-electing W.

  • Sarah Palin woruld be much better than the Marxist Obama, at leat she would not be implimenting all of these Un-constitutional programs Obama wants.

  • A little socialism won`t hurt after a long era of fascism Al, you need balance.

And never ever underestimate the power of utter stupidity, the damage would have been incredible.

Well...lets stick to snakes. Are you gifting me with a deathie for bothering you with politics :) ? You may stay in my guest room for a while as a payment, it is beautiful in here.

  • Except Obama is more of a fascist than Bush ever was. Fascism is where the government owns businesses, but the business is still run by the private citizens. The US government buying General Motors is one of the most fascist things possible.

  • Obama was a Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago before he got into politics, Al. He understands the Constitution better then you or I do.

  • Obama is a fraud. None of his college records are available for public scrutany. He has spent over 1.4 million to keep al of his documents secret. He has something to hide.

  • YouTube doesn't allow links, or I would post you the affidavit direct from UC. You can find it if you look for it though. He really was a professor at the University and despite what you might think, he really does have the countries best interest in mind. What does he stand to gain from a public health option? He has the best HMO in the world already. Myself on the other hand, work for a small company and they don't offer heathcare benefits. I would love a public option I can actually afford.

  • Okay have it your way, when your taxes go up to the point where more than half goes to the govenment, just look in the mirror, there will be no one else to blame.

  • Including his birth certificate showing whether or not he is even a nationalized citizen as required by the Constitution.....

  • You mean "natural born," not "nationalized." The two terms are not interchangeable.

  • Biden taught Constitutional Law as well, but he didn't know what article described the powers of the Vice President. My freshman political science professor didn't know how the president was even elected (hint: the people don't elect the president). Remember the old saying: those who can do, those who can't teach, those who can't teach teach gym.

  • Was this before or after being a food critic?

Was it before or after he denounced his US citizenship in Indonesia?

  • where have you gotten all these snakes from?

  • Bought 'm at "Snakes R US'

  • King cobra's are so beautiful, especialy the front of their face when hooded up. Such a beautiful species of snake. Great video Al, like always.

    -Alex

  • Hi Al; I think that the drug being used is "Ancrod", not aggrastat. Ancrod was originally billed as a replacement anticoagulation drug for people with heparin sensitivities, but didn't make it past the investigational stage. I believe it (ancrod) is on the market in Europe, but not here in the U.S.

    Great video! Impressive snakes.

  • hahaha i agree with the election hypothesis there my friend. lol I'm surprised no one else caught that one yet ^_^

  • Stick to snakes - your politics aren't nearly as interesting.

  • That's the problem with people, they don't find it interesting. When some entity is systematically removing my liberties & freedoms, I don't find it iso interesting, I find it maddning. You're ability to earn a living and have basic freedoms are disappearing rapidly. Who do you think is going to pay for all of the debt (12 Trillion $)? You are along with all of the young people of the USA. You are about to be TAXED to death and you don't find that "interesting".

  • Interesting about the live birth palpating. Maybe but not very likely.

  • wow the Calloselasma rhodostoma was very nice isit old?

  • 2 yrs I think

  • Nice Al ! can't wait for the A.contortrix babies !

  • Nice work Al!

  • How did you know the one with the kinked spine was a female so quickly and easily? is it more obvious on that species of snake?

  • Actually Deathies can be difficult to sex. The tail shape & length is key

  • viper keeper i added you as a friend on RFUK

  • quality

  • ALLLLLLLLL, come back, she is slithering away, UMMM, AL, where are you? she is getting away

  • love your videos, mind you one of them had me worried a little a few nights ago

  • Was that the video where Al was tagged by the Mangrove snake? lol.....Mangrove venom's nothing to worry about.....Just a lot of necrosis, plenty of swelling....possibly an amphutation.....Lovely job LOL.......Just kidding - I think the animal released quickly.....which was possibly a dry bite, being colubrids they must chew to envenomate

  • no, it was actually one where he was playing with some nasty snakes that we have here in Australia. I didn't like the reminder about just how evil our snakies are.

Would love to see the one where he got tagged though. (call me sick)

  • I dont want to be annoying but instead of taking the tube off and then carrying the snake by 2 sticks, you could've kept the tube on and then bring the snake over to the cage and put it in the tank. Then remove the tube later with a stick or tongs.

  • Yes, true..

  • Hmmmm - I think that video of Buzzard at the beginning was already released on another a video a couple of months back - I remember it....everything twigged when you said "Can you smell Mamba?"

  • i think you may be rite about it being aired befor but he did say in the discription he wasnt sure, always good to see the buzzard thow

  • Gary, actually I believe that the first of this video(Buzzard smelling Mamba) and the end of this video (With the babies) are both parts of previous material, but this whole video is the unrealesed section that he had previously uploaded to come up today, while he's still away(Out of Town) I think thats why it seems so fimilar, but like you said it's always good to see the Buzzard! Who knows I might be wrong, But I think this is the right video that he had picked out ,we will know for sure soon

  • That did sound a little familiar.

  • great vid al

    love your vids man

    keep going

  • the buzzard is amazing. such a beautiful and funny creature.. your lucky to own it..

  • Just looking at the mayl.Pit viper, it's disposition and appearence reminds me so much of our southern copperhead in Georgia.I heard you mention that it use to be in the same"Gene family" as the agkistrodon, but what were you saying about Wolfgang and his study that resulted in changing that? BTW - Hope you have a safe trip back home, and take care, Cheers! Lee

  • I don't know who did the work resulting the the taxonomic change.

  • That is a beautiful King u got there, SIr.

  • This cobra is just so intelligent, fantastic.

+ the deathadder is miles more dangerous and cooler to keep than that stupid pit viper.
