That's great! Can I ask you something? I just bought the RC-30 and I was wondering if I can record a chords backing track that is, say, 16 measures on Track 1 and then record a percussive backing track that is 1 or 2 measures long or in any case shorter in length compared to Track 1 and make so that it doesn't stop and continues to play in loop while the chords go by. I'm starting to think that the only way to do that is to have 2 loop-stations, but before that a little help would be great :)
Hi there, I'm experiencing a glitch on my RC-300 Loop Station. Can you tell me if you have experienced the same problem? I made a video to demonstrate it here: youtube.com/watch?v=m_TGrEVH8_A If you have any insight, let me know, thanks!
great review and comments! i read that upgrades from rc20xl weren't many and that this new model is less intuitive. i agree effects are pointless. however, i want to buy a looper, i'm buying a strymon timeline to use as a delay and i want to experiment with its own looper first, but probably holding a footswitch for 2 secs to enter looper mode is a bit annoying live... so i was wondering, would you suggest the rc 30 or the rc20xl instead?
@DalelCampbell I would suggest a midi controller for the timeline though over either of those. It makes the looper and the whole pedal more useable. I have the dmc-4 from disaster area amps. I am going to a demo of it tomorrow i believe, but you can search for a demo of the dmc-3 on you tube and get a good idea of what they can do.
good review

@phigrecon If i were to choose between those two i would go with the rc20xl, if stereo doesn't matter.

@DalelCampbell another option is the looper of the ehx memory man hazeri.
it's stereo it can be reversed and manually slowed down, it only 30's but thats not a big deal for me.
hope all this helps, feel free to ask me any other questions.
cheers,
